History

Established in 1988.

We started preparing legal documents in 1988 as a service to small law firms, but soon began to prepare and provide legal documents to individuals and businesses who are not retaining a lawyer. When the Legal Document Preparer Program was implemented by the Arizona Supreme Court in 2003 we were one of the first to be certified. We have prepared about 2,500 trusts, 1,000 wills, 4,100 divorces, and thousands of other legal documents in the past 25 years. Allen Merrill and his wife, Darlene Merrill, have operated Legal Solutions with care, honesty and ethics for those years. Allen was one of the parties who assisted the Supreme Court in developing the certification program for legal document preparers. He has also served several times as president of the Arizona Association of Independent Paralegals and currently is a Director of that organization.

Allen has owned several businesses in his career, the latest being this one which began in 1988 He also owns and operates Allen D. Merrill, Tax Counseling, a tax preparation busines with 600 clients. Allen has been a leader in the legal document preparation business, having served on the Supreme Court’s ad hoc committee regarding the establishment of a certification program for legal document preparers and has served several times as President of the Arizona Association of Independent Paralegals and is now a Director for that organization. Allen has developed a reputation among his peers and clients for competency, knowledge and ethical dealings.
