Johnson Pool Service

I made the mistake of not checking Unilocal before I used to this company. Boy did I ever pay for my mistake. Absolutely disgraceful work I cannot believe the shoddy quality of the workmanship the really terrible experience with the company. I had a leaking pipe coming out of my pool I jack hammered up my own deck to expose the leak and then made the mistake of having them come finish the job based on a coupon I had received in the mail. I asked them to repipe the entire side expecting that they would be professional enough to complete the job appropriately. After refilling the pool and turning it on my yard promptly flooded, couple thousand gallons of water due to improper glued pipes.
Calling the company for days got me no response till I get a frantic call from my wife about strange men in my back yard. They just showed up and let themselves in.
I finally got ahold off a company rep and set up a time to come look at it while I was home. He admitted the job was crap but offered no solutions or ways to correct the problem.
I asked for an owner or gm to contact me on this and never got any response. In fact the only one I ever heard from was the billing lady who professed to be cutting me a deal. Reduced the bill from almost 800 estimate to 417.87. No regard for my experience, the hundreds of dollars of wasted water, the damage to my yard..
Please do yourself a favor, do not let these hacks near your home or pool, they only want your money. By far the worst company I have had the displeasure of having any interactions with in a very long time.

I do not recommend this service. When they first started cleaning our pool, the service was really good. But then it went down hill after the tech who serviced our pool left the company. Our pool is overrun with algae and the water is cloudy. As you can see by other reviews, my complaints are not unique.
We were told if we drained and acid washed the pool last year, this would clear up our algae problem. It didn’t. Then recently the o-​ring in our backwash valve needed to be replaced, When the pump ran, tons of water leaked from the valve. I called and asked for that to be fixed, and a whole week went by with calls from both my husband and myself, promises to come out by Johnson Pools and then no response. As a result, we haven’t been able to run our pump for a whole week in over 100 degree heat. I’m sure you can imagine what our pool looks like. This was the final straw for me, and we have fired Johnson Pools.

I would also give this company zero stars. I have in fact been using this pool service for more than a year based on a flyer I received in the mail. They started out reasonable but have progressively declined to the appoint of absolutely disgraceful service. They often times will not show up at all one week, they won’t do basic tasks such as check filter baskets. They even went as far as stealing one of my pool filter brushes! I was so upset about the recent service I called and told them I wanted to cancel. The lady on the phone rudely said «that’s fine» and hung up on me/​Please do yourself a favor and never use this pool service. I had never thought of checking Unilocal and it amazes me yet makes so much sense when I see how poorly rated this company is. I sure wish I would have checked Unilocal before I used this pool company. My pool is green now and it looks like it’s up to me to get it back running smoothly. A shameful and disgraceful company. My attempts to contact the owners was also ignored, but I sure hope he reads Unilocal.

Glad I looked these guys up on Unilocal.Used them once two years ago and thought I would give them a call. I couldn’t even get them to schedule an appointment after talking to three different ladies on 3 different calls. Utterly the most pathetic showing for a business I have seen. TERRIBLE!

I would give zero stars as well if i could, the pool company claimed they came out to service the pool. If they did it wouldn’t be green. They still charge my credit card of course and stall giving a refund. I would not use them for anything.

I would give zero stars if possible. This pool company will claim they came out to service your pool when they never even stopped by the house. We were stuck with this pool company because of our rental company and we weren’t able to use our pool all last summer because it turned green every week because they don’t do their job. To top it off they can’t even manage to return your phone calls. I found out through our rental company that 90% of the pools serviced by this company are green. Invitations Homes has since changed their pool service and thank goodness! We can hopefully use our pool this summer.

zero stars look at the reviews. that tells you something. they are theives, They should be in Jail They rent houses and do business from the houses. then when you need to take them to court they move again. A year ago they came out and gave me a bid to move my pool equipment. Jason came out told me he needed my credit card up front for the job. They Charged $ 1876.83 on my credit card. Jason came out stated (after my credit card was charged) to much work and left never did anything. Amy whom answers the phone said he dug a hole. I stated no RDS Electric dug a trench. Disputed the charge. They are very difficult. Liars. A year later yesterday they charged my credit card again. I called Jason since the other phone numbers were disconnected he stated he is checking in a hotel and is on vacation yep (with my money). No i dispute it again. do not give them any banking info. Please note They open pool business under similar names in the past. They have been in multiple law suits.

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. As part of our lease agreement with a prominent rental company in the Phoenix area, our pool maintenance WAS contracted through Johnson Pools. All I can say is thankfully enough people have complained that they decided to switch vendors (yes I did a happy dance!). We went through three different pool guys in 6 weeks (they all kept quitting!) and due to «no shows» our pool eventually developed black algae then turned green. I could go on and on. I complained a few times but they just LIE! This company is beyond awful. I’d be surprised if they are still in business in another 6 months, because they obviously don’t care.

This is a HORRIBLE company. My mother is disabled and they took advantage of her. Our water leveler was broken and flooding our backyard for 2 months and supposedly had no idea it was the pool. Even though their website states that they check all parts before leaving. Don’t understand how they could miss it shooting ½ a gallon of water per minute. (we found that out from our water company) I contacted BBB and all they offered was a month refund of pool services. Didn’t even offer to pay for the damages in our backyard. We had a new guy come and he could not believe the damages it caused and how they «didn’t know». This company is terrible with no morals at all. DO NOT USE THEM
