I’ve always wanted to try barre and finally did over a month ago, started off with the Dailey basics and now I’m officially hooked! I usually take Dailey barre and have definitely noticed my body being more toned. TDM classes have definitely strengthened my running, probably because my core is a lot stronger. I’ve been running for 8 years now and was never motivated to workout outside of it. I love how TDM isn’t cardio heavy like other studios I’ve tried such as barre3 and pure barre(I believe the interval classes are more cardio demanding, however) because it’s a great compliment to my normal running routine, which I do after my class. It also feels a lot cleaner and airier than other places I’ve been; light-filled studio with clean hardwood floors — sticky socks mandatory!, mats, balls, etc. that is routinely cleaned with every class. Great attention is given on form, all instructors are great in helping you improve and correcting your alignment – positive, encouraging, and always great energy with upbeat music. When I went to pure barre/barre 3 all the classes were cardio intensive which makes for a sweaty workout, but I found there was barely any attention to form… TDM’s attention to detail not only helps for you to improve and work right muscle groups but most important helps prevent you from hurting yourself! The only con is that I wish there were a couple more classes, at least 1 – 2 evening classes daily and an evening class on Sunday! I’m always disappointed when there are no eve classes for me to sign up for after I work a night shift at the hospital :(I believe the bothell locations has much more classes + cycling but it’s much farther for me since I live in Seattle.

I love the Dailey Method! Owners Brenda and Michelle are so encouraging and motivating. I had hit a wall mentally and physically in my other workouts, but since starting classes at Dailey Method three months ago, I’ve noticed my strength increase dramatically. The Dailey Method focuses on alignment, and I’ve been able to get much deeper into my workout and find«new» muscles(plus, it’s injury prevention). I appreciate the supportive atmosphere of the classes and the studio in general. I’ve made new friends at the studio –in the instructors and other clients– and I love that we’re all rooting for each other to be successful.

A full body workout in 60 minutes! I’ve never been a fan of working out, the time, the effort, the dedication — Too difficult to discipline myself on my own! I started going to The Dailey Method last year and it is the best and most time efficient workout I’ve ever done. The instructors and the workouts are great; they focus on strengthening and toning every part of your body and boy do you feel sore after! I feel and look great! ;)

One of my favorite barre studios! The best part is probably how friendly they are. I take classes at a bunch of studios(Classpass) and they’re the only ones who noticed my birthday had just passed(or was coming up very soon?) and wished me a happy birthday. The next best thing… probably their classes. Very challenging but not so difficult that I give up on anything(except maybe the last few moments of a plank). The studio itself is also nice. I love their colors(so happy!), all the natural light, and the option to shower after class(many other barre studios don’t have showers). Looking forward to my next Dailey Method class!

The Dailey Method can kick your butt/thighs/abs, etc… Although I had been wanting to check this place out, a total spur-of-the-moment purchase of Groupon with a small discount(5 classes for $ 28) was what got me into this studio yesterday. The Mercer Island studio is located conveniently in the Aviara apartment building with lots of guest parking. It is very clean, bright, and airy. It screams«workout can be fun». They provide all the weights, mats, and even small towels. Wear something comfortable to move in, and bring a pair of socks(you can purchase them at the studio as well). Then, you are good to go. I took a 60-min Dailey Barre, which incorporated some yoga, pilates, and barre moves. The instructor was friendly, helpful, and as upbeat as the music she was playing during class. The class I was in was full of women varying in age, fitness level, body shape, etc., and they all seemed to be having fun. If you are looking for a new workout, you should definitely give this a try!

The Dailey Method is a phenomenal workout — safe, challenging, and unquestionably effective. See my reviews of the Piedmont, CA and Berkeley, CA studios for more details. The Mercer Island studio is lovely. The light space and cork floors feel clean and modern. I took class with Emily which was excellent and had the pleasure of meeting the co-owner Brenda. Both women and the desk staff were incredibly welcoming. HIGHLY recommended!

This is a fabulous workout! A 60-minute workout that strengthens your core by incorporating elements of yoga, pilates and ballet. I love it! I have been practicing TDM for more than eight months now and it has changed my body and health. I find my posture has improved, my body has toned up, and it is therapeutic to an old back injury I sustained some time ago. I am happy with the results. I like the Mercer Island studio a lot. It has plenty of lighting, space, and free parking. The studio also offers childcare and classes are offered as early as 6 a.m. certain days. Both the owners are very friendly and attentive to the clients. They also are instructors and their workouts are awesome. Although the workout follows a format, the actual positions are always changed, so you never get bored. I like that they give you encouragement and correct and check your alignment to make sure you do not get hurt with an incorrect alignment. I highly recommend it.

Amazing studio run by awesome owners! The work out is very tough but the instructors know what they’re doing and help you through all the postures. Definitely give it a try if you’re interested in a workout that isn’t cardio-heavy and if yoga is becoming monotonous. Child care is also offered during the two morning classes Mon-Fri.
