I have been going here for years and Dr. Masciocchi and his staff have given me the best possible care – they go above and beyond that you are happy. That is worth the expense akibe, You don’t just get glasses care here. You get a doc and staff that know you when you walk in the door and remember what you need.

I was greeted with a warm welcome the moment I walked through the door. Dr. M. was running a little behind schedule, but they took care to have me try on glasses while waiting. Irada has such a warm personality and a great eye for style. She helped me pick out the perfect Dita frames and was willing to work with my insurance so I could afford them! The frames needed to be special ordered and cost a whopping $ 600, but they’re such unique and glamorous frames that I’m willing to wait. (It was no surprise that I choose such expensive frames since I tend to have caviar taste on a top ramen budget ha!)
—My visit with Dr. M was quick and painless. He assured me that my mild prescription was nothing to be concerned about — and what a relief that was to hear! After childbirth my vision had seemed to change, but most likely its from lack of sleep.

I’d give Dr. Masciocchi and his entire staff 10 stars, if I could. Our whole family has been seeing Dr. M. for over 4 years. My prescription is the most complicated, by far. I’ll spare you the details. Even with my challenging vision issues, Dr. M. is able to prescribe progressive lenses for me which actually enable me to read close up, see the computer screen, and see far away. I know that this is nothing short of a miracle, having been to several doctors who weren’t up to the task. Milena and the entire staff are sharp and helpful too.
Dr. M. cares about our entire community as well. I am the Board President of the Mercer Island Farmers Market, and he is an enthusiastic, generous, business Sponsor of the Market. We are fortunate to have MI Eyeworks in our neighborhood.

Eyeworks has always made the perfect progressive lenses for me. Dr. Masciocchi is excellent at determining exactly my prescription. Eyeworks also has a great selection of very attractive frames for men and women which Milena and the rest of the staff will help you choose and ensure they fit. Eyeworks is the best!

My whole family has been seen by Dr. Masciocchi since his office has opened while we lived in Seattle. When we moved to Boston over 5 years ago we continued to be his loyal patients just because his expertize, great personality and amazing staff has no comparison. We get an A plus service every time, even on the short notice while we are in town, he makes himself available to do an eye exam — sometimes after hours!
The office has an incredible variety of fashionable eye wear and Milena (who is amazing) has a true sense of style and patience to find the best frame that fits.

Been coming here for about 4 years now. Great service, very professional. Dr. M. is great, thorough and knowledgeable. The selection of frames are great and more stylish than those you might find in the national optical stores (Pearl, etc.). I keep coming back.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place is amazing! I’ve always had issues with getting accurate prescription but Dr. Masciocchi was spot on, and no air puff in the eye! :)

I have been there for my contacts and I was extremely well welcomed, I really want to salute the great customer service of MI Eyeworks. Prices are ok and their delivering is very fast. They also have many products in stock so you might not even have to wait!

I would preface this writeup as follows:
For the past 5 or 6 years, I have had trouble finding an eye doctor who could get my prescription right. I had previously tried Lenscrafters, and had to return to them 3 times without success, and another year I tried Pearlvision in Issaquah, but their prescription did not work either. I skipped some years for getting my prescription checked due to so many poor prescriptions which resulted in nothing but wasted time and money.
Fast-​forward a few years and now there is Unilocal to hopefully help find a good eye doc. I noted that Dr. Masciocchi has the best Unilocal score on the eastside, and since my vision was in trouble due to using my extremely outdated prescription, I felt I would give him a try. I am now pleased to say that I have been using his prescription for about six months and am generally pleased with the results. I am using progressive lenses for the first time, and it took me a few months to adjust, but ultimately my vision is much improved and my time and money was well spent this time around, and I am glad that Unilocal helped me find Dr. Masciocchi.
I have since sent my wife and kids to Dr. Masciocchi, and we now all have new frames and prescriptions and we are all pleased with all aspects of our visits to Dr. Masciocchi. I also want to mention that in contrast to the optical chains, which have frames that I typically don’t care for, Dr. Masciocchi’s shop is filled with beautiful, modern, high-​quality frames. My daughter was so pleased to find a pair of frames made in France which have interchangeable temples that she facetimed me to show them to me and to request that I purchase them for her.
Dealing with Dr. Masciocchi and his staff has been a very pleasant experience. Dr. Masciocchi does a nice job of explaining things and and answering any questions, and I fully expect to use his office for all of our future vision needs.

When you first walk in, you are greeted by a very friend staff. They are all knowledgable of what works for you and your style in the small amount of time you are there. It’s like a candy store for eye glasses. It’s so fun to look at all the varieties of shapes, colors, frames, and notable designers.
Dr. Masciocchi has a way of making you feel really comfortable and any questions you have are answered with facts and in-​depth explanations. I have learned a lot about my eyes from him!
I strongly recommend this eye care clinic to anyone who is looking for a positive experience.

Nothing wrong with the eye exam. I think Dr. Masciocchi is perfectly friendly. He also did a good job of checking my insurance to see what would be covered and worked within those parameters for the exam.
What I did notice was that his front desk staff did absolutely nothing. He took my payment for the visit. A week later, he called me to let me know my contacts would be shipped to me and took payment for the contact lenses. I thought that was a little strange.
The reason I have to take those stars off is that I received a text message reminder for my visit. I never agreed to getting a text as a reminder, and as a person that lives in the stoneage, I don’t have unlimited texts so that reminder was more costly than a phone call they could have just as easily made. In addition, since I went in I have been receiving texts and marketing like phone calls to schedule another visit. There was one day that I received 3 calls! It’s just plain annoying.

Let me start out by saying that I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years. So I have seen many different eye doctors. Dr. Masciocchi is by far the best that I have been to. My wife has been going to him for a few years now and is always raving about him so I decided to give him a try this time. He is very pleasant and gentle and very thorough. After my exam, I had a pair of glasses that were made at a «nationwide» chain and they didn’t seem right so I called Dr. Masciocchi’s office and had an appt to come back within the hour! The doctor spent at least 20 – 30 minutes with me and found out the problem with the set of glasses.
Don’t hesitate to give Dr. Masciocchi and staff a try. My wife and I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr. Masciocchi for over 5 years now and have been very pleased with their services. He makes the appointments quick and painless while also offering recommendations/​solutions to my questions. His staff is on point for getting you the best frames for your face. He is the best there is!

Dr. Masciocchi is super nice. He is very friendly and when I went for my appointment he was just super jolly to talk to. Optometrists are great, hooray!
The front staff (especially Lisa) are rather cordial. Lisa is very good about following up with you about appointments.
I must say that eye exams and contacts are not cheap so please come equipped with insurance. My eye exam plus contact fitting plus a year’s supply of contacts came out to be a little less than $ 200 with my insurance, with about $ 400 being billed to the insurance company.

I have been to so many optometrists, and Dr. Masciocchi is just amazing… I needed contacts in a hurry for my wedding (and didn’t want to go back to a very rude previous Lynnwood Lenscrafters office), and he made it happen. Couldn’t be more thrilled with the level of service, professionalism, and pure kindness from this doctor. The office staff are a bit detached (not sure how much they want to be there), but other than that its worth it to see this doctor.

I sing the praises of Mercer Island Eyeworks to whoever asks me for a good optometrist. I have worn glasses since I was in elementary school and always had difficulties finding glasses that were fashionable and fit comfortably. Time and time again I was regulated to boring frames that I grew tired of within weeks. They did not express me and the staff at these cookie cutter lens providers couldn’t care less.
Not so at Mercer Island Eyeworks! Everyone here is so polite, so professional, and utterly patient. Dr. Masciocchi was a delight, and my appointment was quick and painless. The ladies helped me select the perfect pair of frames! They are perfect!
