John L. Scott – Julie Mermelstein

We’ve known James Laurie for a few years. We met him at an open house on Mercer Island a while back and he periodically kept in touch with us. When it came time for us to move and sell our house, we chose him to help us find a new place and he was incredibly responsive. He knows the Mercer Island market extremely well and he has lots of valuable insights.
We got into a bidding war and James’s expertise helped us win the place and even got the seller to accept our original offer!
James is incredibly thoughtful, courteous and very kind. He burns all ends of the candle and is extremely communicative. Any time we had a question we could get a hold of him or he’d call us back within a few hours max. He also did lots of little touches to help smooth the sale along and get everything to work out well. You can tell he really cares about his clients.
