Great local butcher shop that is friendly and sources most if their meat locally.
Reasonable prices and a good selection. You can talk to the owners and they will cheat you fairly eg the Blues Brothers.
Buy local and support Lake county and Mentor.

meat is pricey but good, selection covers alot of options BUT the attitude and customer service rates a minus 2 stars. Unfortunately, that is not an option. If you do venture in, do your best to get the guy to wait on you. (he may be a butcher as he comes from the back) but he’s the ONLY friendly, genuinely interested in helping you person that works there.
If you ask one of the ladies about a specific item in the case etc, they respond as if you are bothering them. They give a flip answer and turn away to do something else.
The first time this happpened I chaulked it up to them having a bad day. The next time my wife was there and came home with the same story. I just got back a few minutes ago saying it was my LAST! No matter how good or how pricey their food is, it’s just not worth the aggravation of being treated like a second class citizen.
There are plenty of other meat markets in the area that treat their customers with a smile and a friendly attitude. Try to meat dept and deli at Reiders on RT44. A little bit of a drive but IMO, well worth it. Plus you can do all your shopping in one place. (no, I don’t work there)
oh, and they only take MC/​Visa.

This is one of the best butcher shop that I have known. The customer service is exceptional. I am a big local business supporter. The prices may be higher but you know where the meat comes from and the quality. They were able to find some caul fat for me and I was so happy. I was able to make my meat roll from my aunt recipe.
There are so much house-​made sausage to try. I just have to get a checklist and try everyone of them.

This place is great its close to me it is kinda of small and a little pricey but the meats are great. They have great Freezer Packages though.

Okay, considering I’m a veggie person. this place is awesome. They have everything. Even individually packaged dishes where you heat and eat.
