Definitely go check this place out. Misha actually gets Asian male hair. She does a great job with my hair. She’s really open to feedback. She doesn’t make you feel like she’s in a rush. She’s okay with taking multiple rounds of feedback. And, she’s a pleasure to talk to. Love it.
This is my new haircut spot after much looking around in the Palo Alto area. It took me a few years to find a place I feel like I could recommend.

I take my kids here for haircuts and they do a great job.

I’ve been going to Habibi’s for about a year now. I’ve had Ines color my hair (high– and low-​lights) and both Misha and Ines cut and style it. Ines takes great pride in her work, and it’s obvious she wants you to leave her establishment looking your best. She takes photos, talks with you, listens to you and makes suggestions, if requested. She is a real pro; one who clearly wants her clients to leave happy and feeling good about their new cut and/​or color. Misha is a thoughtful and accomplished stylist, as well. Not only are both ladies talented, you will not find a friendlier nor a more welcoming salon. Price/​performance is amazing! I highly recommend this wonderful, neighborhood salon.

I have been getting my hair done in San Francisco for well over 15 years and paying $ 180 for a cut and never being happy. I had my hair cut by Koty and I am in love! I was extremely nervous because my plan was to cut 10+ inches off my long hair. Let me tell you the results are amazing! Koty was very detail oriented and made sure it was cut to perfection. I am so happy and have received so many compliments. This haircut even made two of my co-​workers go get their hair done by her! You can trust her with scissors and I am going to go back for her to color my hair. Book an appointment with her, because from a 1 to a 10, I would give her a 12! Thanks Koty, I love my hair!

I have been going to Habibi salon since it first opened about 7 years ago. Coming from Europe, I was so blessed to find Ines here in California! Ines and her team are just FANTASTIC! In addition to her expertise in hair cuts and styles, Ines is also an expert colorist. She uses multiple shades of high lights and low lights to create an amazing result on your hair. The products used in the salon are of the very best quality. You feel truly transformed and happy every time! Misha is very knowledgeable as well and always makes sure to create the haircut of your dreams. My two boys and husband are also extremely happy with their haircuts.
Habibi is a hidden gem, a truly professional hair salon, with a family friendly atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and I wholeheartedly recommend Habibi to anyone! If it was possible to put six stars, I would!!!

I just came back from Habibi’s and need to write this to take it off my chest: I wish I re-​verified price with the hairdresser before committing to the haircut. I recently moved here from another state where I was perfectly fine with 30 $ haircut (plus 10 $ tip) — my hair is very short and just needs trim, nothing much. I understand people are willing to spend much more on their hair but everyone has their own way and I don’t feel my hair is worth that much spending. Anyway, I called Habibi’s 3 days ago and talked to Ines who told me she did not know for sure how much hairdressers charged for short hair but she would ask (which she did right away) and then she came back with 30 – 35 $ range. Which seemed fine to me. I walked by the saloon 2 days ago and booked appointment for today WITHOUT FURTHER INQUIRING ABOUT THE PRICE. That was my mistake and this is the reason of my writing this review. Saloon is nice (nothing fancy as others say too but it’s really decent) and the hairdresser was a nice young lady who did pay attention to my hair but I was really unhappy with 65 $ price THAT I DID NOT KNOW IN ADVANCE. I wish I asked today but thought it was not necessary. So whoever is reading this review, make sure you know how much you will be charged if you don’t want to feel like I am right now (not really the best feeling). And no, I’m not taking my daughter there (she also needs a quick trim). I’ll find another place somewhere to pay around 40 $ — wish me luck!
UPDATE: After posting this review, my hairdresser called me within 10 minutes and left a message saying she overcharged me and she was asking me to go back to the saloon to get a reimbursement. I went back and found out that she had charged my credit card for $ 135 :) I did get my money back but will not be going back to this place. Ines seems very nice but my whole experience from today tells me to stay away.

I just recently got my hair done gray/​silver on the bottom half of my hair, kind of like an ombré style but in gray/​silver. I never thought I would do a color like that so noticeable & unique, I was a bit nervous but let me tell you the results were amazing. It was a long process since my hair is dark but staff members, other than be welcoming & friendly, make sure you are comfortable. If you are not satisfied with your hair let them know, they will appreciate your honesty and will fix it. I definitely recommend this hair salon. I got my hair done by Yunuhen, very sweet individual & does a great job. I love my hair !

The hairstylist Misha, did a great job getting my hair to the color I wanted. I have really dark hair that I opted to get it bleach so I can get the color purple to show more. She took her time prepping my hair during the bleaching process and made sure she even got the baby hairs. She consistently asked how I was feeling and if water temperature was good, if there were any discomfort. The original color was a bit light but she totally got the color I wanted and she took the time to make sure everything came out right. Her technique in applying the color was great, it came out an even tone, no blotchiness, nice work. I was really impress with her overall work and the effort she put in. She didn’t give you that «being rushed feeling,» she took her time to style n blowdry my hair and asked how I wanted, I was there late, near closing. But she didnt let that get in the way of getting my hair AWESOME service. I would definitely come back here for another hair service.

I was looking to pamper myself and get a trim since my hair tips were starting to feel and look dry. A good friend recommended Habibi’s. I scheduled an appointment for today and I have to say I am happy with the outcome! My hair is curly and I am low maintenance since I am always on the go. I also don’t like using hair products since most have chemicals. Misha did an excellent job and showed me how to style my curls in a quick and easy way using natural products. Misha and Ines, the owner were very welcoming. I highly recommend this hair salon for your hair needs.

Ines is a specialist. She has great experience and I trust her every time. If you have not experienced her magic cuts yet, you should definitely go, she will be your favorite.

I have been going Ines, the salon owner, for about two years. The salon is really nice, always clean and organized.
Ines always does an amazing job. When going to other hair dressers my hair would often fade to an orange color. After discussing it with Ines she was able to advice me on going with more neutral colors, which worked great! She also recommends products to help keep my color stay longer and has given me samples.
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!

Ines is such a sweet person and does a great job making me feel beautiful everytime I get out of her hair salon. I am so grateful to have her as my hairdresser. She suggested me a few month ago to do a perm, I just LOVE it. I also love the fact that Ines uses natural product, so it is definitely a win win for me.

Best Keratin treatment and color in the Bay Area… No wait! Maybe even in the US. Ines is amazing, straightforward and exceptionally skilled. I cannot be happier with my Keratin treatment (it saved my hair) and deep auburn color! I will recommend this to everyone. Such a gem of a place. I hear they are booked for weeks so call quickly today!

This place is not fancy or «high end» but delivers great service. I was there for a keratin treatment about 2 weeks ago and was a bit nervous when I first walked in. I’m from NYC and am accustomed to a slightly different atmosphere. When I walked into the salon here there were two teenagers getting their haircut… Not the same clientele I typically see back home. It is striking how family oriented this place is, complete with a chair especially for kids haircuts. What struck me even more was that everyone was on a first name basis… They obviously are a neighborhood spot with repeat clients… To me this is a very good sign. They steadily got busier and busier the longer I sat there, so I was happy I had called for an appointment.
The keratin treatment itself was great. They use a fantastic product which I asked about before I mad e the appointment.
The salon owner is very hospitable, offering me water then tea (hot black peach tea from the spot next door which was to die for). And when I left the salon she gave me a travel size shampoo and conditioner that she thought would be good for my hair for FREE!!! She was right… I bought the full size product as soon as I ran out of the ones she gave me.
These ladies know their business and they are fantastic.

Ines and her stylists have been cutting our family’s hair (2 adults and 1 child) since they opened. Always a great cut and super nice people as well. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a haircut.

Obnoxious to walk-​ins. The lady looked at her appointment book, which I can see is empty (and so is her salon), and said she’s too busy to accommodate a haircut. I surmised she only caters to regulars.

The haircuts in this salon are top-​notch and very affordable.
I’m a regular and I don’t mind getting a different stylist from time to time, because I know that they will always cut and style my hair the way I want. Not only all of Habibi’s stylists are talented, but they are also super friendly.
Ines (the salon owner) will often try to arrange something in case she is fully booked. Also there is a really cool café next to it in case you need to wait for your appointment…

I had to get up at 6 am (poor me) to catch an appointment with Inez who was otherwise really booked.
She was very nice, made sure she knew what I wanted, looked at my pictures, and gave me a great haircut! I also appreciated that she was NOT pushy about selling me any products.
