Description

Specialties

All dogs must pass a temperament evaluation and attend at least 1 daycare day prior to boarding. The temperament evaluations are never held on the same day as the daycare day.

Your dog is one of the family when staying at Andy’s Boarding Place. The entire house and yard is dog friendly, there is always access to the yard. Based on their discretion, the dogs can be inside laying on a couch, resting in the sun in the yard, or chasing each other out back!

When your pup stays here, they are given the care and attention very similar to what you give them at home, the only difference is that Mom and Dad aren’t there. Love, play, eat, play, love, nap — that is a typical day’s menu for our dogs!

Our rates are very reasonable for both daycare and boarding with various packages offering discounts. We can accomodate for a day, a week, a month, whatever your needs may be.

History

Established in 2010.

Andy’s Boarding Place came to fruition when RainbowBridge Boarding, and specifically Deb McFall, relocated to Sacremento. Previously, Deb and I had worked together at several prominent daycare/boarding facilities and always came to the same conclusion — we could love, care for, and nurture our beloved dogs better then the bottom-line minded business’s we had managed in the past. We achieved this and hence, the success of RainbowBridge Boarding and now Andy’s Boarding Place. The guiding philosophy is dogs first, humans second! Andy’s Boarding Place is an open home environment with open access to the large play yard at all times and furnished with beds, couches, fluffy pet beds, etc to ensure creature comfort in every room of the house. For those who love to play we have every toy imaginable, wading pools when hot, AC in every room and all other amenities that our loved canines could want for.

Meet the Business Owner

Kevin B.

Business Owner

Once I reached a point in my life where work was not a primary focus, I decided to pursue my passion, my love, my hobby, etc which was, to be involved in the betterment of life for dogs. I managed several prominent daycare/boarding facilities in the bay area and in each environment I felt the happiness of the dogs was a secondary objective. I knew there was a better way! Andy’s Boarding Place was born from the need to create an incredibly happy environment for the dogs and to have Pet Parents that could leave their pets and never have a second of worry or anxiety regarding how their pets were being cared for. Additionally, I have been certified in dog CPR, first aid, Pet Technology, and various canine training courses.

My own dog Andy, an interesting mix of Aussie and I don’t know what, has a utopian life; together he and I are dedicated to bring this lifestyle to our many Pet Parents.
