Memphis’ oldest tavern has been around since 1939. Located 3 blocks south of Beale, the Green Beetle is one of the coolest spots on South Main. We offer incredible southern food with an Italian flair and an almost famous beer selection from around the world. Come see what everyone else is talking about!
History
Established in 1939.
Founded in 1939 by Frank Liberto, the Green Beetle has been a South Main favorite since it was reopened by Big Frank’s grandson in 2011. It’s family owned and operated and remains a neighborhood hotspot to this day. The Beetle serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and even delivers an incredible menu. Drop by 325 South Main and see why it’s a downtown destination.
