History
Established in 2010.
The Fema Guesthouse started as a funny nickname given by the children of Chere, the proprietor, whenever they visited from the Gulf Coast. But although «Fema» is a reference to the infamously poor post-Katrina housing program, the Fema Guesthouse is famously fabulous! Chere is an expert host, a trained chef, and an artist. For years she’s competed against chain hotels and big businesses to provide visitors to Memphis with an authentic and hospitable stay they’ll always fondly remember. If you arrange a stay at the Guesthouse, she’ll make sure your stay is perfect.
