Stayed here for a family reunion last weekend. I must say the customer service was superb. We had an issue with the wifi in the room and they kindly switched our room after trying to trouble shoot it. The initial room had a slight stench and the lock was broken, so I was glad to move rooms. The new room was great minus the slightly flakey air condition. Overall, it’s a well taken care of establishment. I would give it 3.5 stars.

This hotel was great. Nice and clean, comfy beds and within walking distance to restaurants and close to other shopping. Located in a safe neighborhood as well. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have is the thermostat in the room was hard to control, other than that, would definitely stay here again.

40 year old single white male business traveler. I stay at three hotels in the area that are relatively the same in regard to quality. Hyatt Place, Hampton and Courtyard. I will focus on the differences. Pros– The room has all the basic amenities and is a good size. The free breakfast is very good and they supply free coffee all day. As an avid coffee drinker, I really appreciate it. The staff is friendly and when I had a few minor issues, they addressed them. Cons– the pool is tiny. I don’t normally go in the pool, but I like sitting around the pool after work and having some social interaction. Unfortunately, since this is the least expensive of the hotels along similar quality, it attracts more families. The pool was packed with kids on several occasions. Also, I noticed many employees hang around the hotel when they are not working. That is usually a recipe for disaster. There are a few rooms that are in a dead zone(room 304). The wifi and satellite TVDONOTWORK. When I contacted the desk, they seemed surprised and could not move my room since the hotel was sold out. I only had wifi in the lobby, and there was a church convention in town and the place was a mad house. I found out through a fellow traveler that they are aware of the issues in a few rooms. As a frequent visitor, I was disappointed they gave me the dead room. I have not been back since, but I don’t rule it out in the future.

I’ve stayed here many times… Sure, I’ve had a handful of issues but overall it’s a good place to stay and you are pretty much guaranteed an enjoyable time. The rooms are updated. The suites are sizable. The breakfast is only adequate so don’t expect much. Pros: parking is usually available in front of hotel Cons: they still offer smoking rooms so make sure you reserve a non if you’re not a smoker… Elevator is suuuuuuuper slow… Housekeeping has thrown away various items of mine left in the shower(hotel did replace) Check it out — you will be comfortable.

Very friendly staff and when I was in a rush to catch my flight, they had breakfast to go! Free shuttle to and from the airport(it’s a $ 30 cab ride otherwise). The only issue was not all of their staff knew the shuttle hours.

Nice Hampton Inn with a decent-sized room and beautiful lobby area. It is a bit far from downtown, which is the major downside, but we were able to find free or very cheap parking down there every time and had no real problems with traffic. Two minutes away from one of the Corky’s locations.

Outstanding Service! The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, the hotel is clean but the staff is outstanding. First of all we were part of the problem, we being the throngs of soccer parents and players that descended on this establishment like cleat clad locus. They handled it wonderfully. A lot of restless kids wanting to kick a ball around while waiting for pizza? Not an issue, they opened a meeting room and let them free. No broken items in the lobby, no disturbed guests just a will handled situation. Well done. I found the air conditioner in my room a little loud, there was a new room card key in my hands in a matter of seconds. Once again, well done! A few of us soccer dads enjoyed some adult beverages and some American football on one of the lobby flat screens. We had a good conversation with a staff member who as tidying up after the cleat-ed terrors went to bed, we even received some good advise on places to eat while in town. A very friendly and helpful staff that truly demonstrate the meaning of southern hospitality.
