Food is great as far as taste, but the food is always cold, it’s just sad to have great food and it’s always cold and the service from the cook his attitude makes you say no Thankyou

Pulled up to Big Bills expecting a little more ambiance. I knew it was a walk up counter from other reviews but I was hoping it was a little nicer. We decided to pass on trying Big Bills because we wanted a little nicer of a place to sit down. It reminded me of a walk in hot dog and gyros place. I’m sure the food is good because there was a line of people.

Turkey leg was amazing(and huge.) Hot pork plate was a decent size(didn’t leave feeling overly full) and the baked beans were fantastic!

Excellent meat and the sauce was the best. Fries with light seasoning, no ketchup needed.

I just visited Graceland and I was looking for a hidden gem, ma and pa, BBQ joint and I was lucky the find this place. I had a large BBQ sandwich with fries and the fries were seasoned to perfection. The BBQ sandwich itself was so big I didn’t need to eat dinner. What I remember best about this place was the side order of tamales I got. I am from Ohio, so this was my first time eating tamales. I also visited many other places in Mississippi on my trip and tried others,(5 restaurants). This place had the best and biggest tamales of them all.

Stopped in for lunch and glad I did. It’s a little hole in the wall BBQ joint. The staff could have been a little friendlier but that’s okay. I got a pulled pork sandwich with fries. The sandwich was loaded with delicious sauce and the fries were seasoned perfectly. I will definitely be back again next time I’m in memphis.

The pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on it was just what I was looking for when in Memphis after a stop at Graceland. I will remember this meal for a long time– it really hit the spot! Deeeeee-licious. This little corner mom and pop place is small but that is where you will find the best food! Wish I could take it with me on the rest of my road trip!

The service and the baked beans are what the three stars are for. The ribs were drier than jerky. We had a single piece each and dumped the rest of the rack in the trash. Brisket was alright, but nothing you can’t get at any BBQ joint. Don’t come here for the best in Memphis.

As I have always said, the small mom-and-pop type restaurants in the neighborhood always has the best food. Big Bill’s BBQ is no exception to that rule. Shout out to my man Big Bill. This restaurant is definitely a winner. I had the smoked barbeque Salmon sandwich with spaghetti. I ate everything on the plate. I almost ate the napkin, it was so good. Definitely come here for top notch barbeque. Big Bill’s BBQ will take good care of you here.

Big bills was a great stop for us(on the way back to Alabama from Arkansas). The ribs were great! My husband enjoyed his bar-bar-queue sandwich(with slaw). Hot is not too spicy, but the mild is fantastic. Sweet and tangy. Just a hole-in-the-wall but clean and fast. Overall a good choice for BBQ in Memphis.

I almost hate to review Big Bill’s… this place is my own personal shambala — possibly the best bbq in town… the place is clean, the food is top notch, the service is excellent — highly recommended for all bbq enthusiasts. the charm is that it is under the radar and still serves a wicked bbq. They have their own smoker, the meat is perfectly cooked. perfection.

Great rib tip plate, they put the sauce on the whole thing(fries and ribs) like home(Chicago). Best BBQ on Elvis Presley blvd. Also, great BBQ turkey, but I’d recommend mild b/c the sauce is hot! Cool stop to get some quick BBQ.

Just a half mile walk down from Graceland, and absolutely worth the walk. Small, local kitchen style restaurant, super BBQ choices and the nicest people, even to the obvious tourists like me. Give it a try, can’t find anything quite like this in CT.

I was on vacation with a large group, visiting Graceland and we were looking for a quick bite to eat before out tour. There are a lot of fast food chains on this street so when we noticed this little place on the corner we though, why not? It really is a hole in the wall but the food is legit! We got a family meal for 5 people and were completely full after demolishing it… because it was delicious! The spicy BBQ sauce is fantastic, so be sure to try it if you’re in the area!

Atmosphere is your basic order from the counter restaurant. Food is ok. Service is ok. Price is ok. In Memphis so many to BBQ well that you really have to do it up to stand out. Bill Bill’s is ok.

mmmm… bbq! Big Bill’s BBQ has some awesome ribs. the ribs come with coleslaw and 2 slices of white bread. the ribs are moist and delicious. the bbq sauce is awesome! it was so good, i wanted to lick the foil the ribs came on. service is great too. we were greeted friendily, ordered at the counter, grabbed out fountain drinks, and sat down at one of the booths to wait for our food. in just a few minutes the food was ready to pick up at the counter. we sat down and got so messy, it’s a good thing they have napkin dispensers at the table! i got sauce all over my face, hands, and even my elbows! it’s not a fancy place, but it was comfortable and tasted home-cooked. i’m glad we stopped here to have dinner before continuing our cross country road trip from California to Florida. i feel like i really got a taste of some Southern bbq.

I ate here at 11:00 am and expected yesterday“s food to be served first. i was wrong. I had the ribs. It was partially pink inside indicating a smoked process. The meat was moist. There was an excess fat but it added to the flavor and moistness. The beans was robust. The spaghetti had a proper balance of bbq sauce but not over-powering. They give ample amount of their side dishes. On Monday nights, the cracklings are cooked. by all means, if you are a big fan of cracklings, and that your not too concern of your cholesterol intake, then you must try it. It’s $ 2.17 per bag and it’s worth it. The Pit Master has pride in his creation. The service from Phyllis was remarkable.

This is one of the few non-chain BBQ joints in real North Memphis(i.e. north of Jackson Ave/Austin Peay) The sandwiches are good and I liked the service. Not the best BBQ in Memphis, but something worth trying on your way to Millington through North Memphis.
