We eat here often. Great service and I love the Greek omelette. The only complaint I have is there is not a kids menu. Prices are high for my 3 year old who doesn’t eat much.

I recently moved to Florida from Michigan. The one thing I miss about Michigan was a local Greek diner. Niki’s reminds me of my favorite Michigan haunt. Niki’s has a large diverse menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have tried the pancakes with chocolate chips and pecans, eggs, Grits, corned beef hash and numerous omelets. I have never been disappointed. Breakfast is served until 11:30 am. For lunch I have had the spinach pie, Greek salad, the French Dip, Reuben, and the Tuna Melt. All have been good. I have not dined there for dinner, but they boast that their Prime Rib is fabulous. They serve wine at dinner. The restaurant is clean, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Several of the wait staff have worked at Niki’s for years. The owner is there and assures good customer service. I highly recommend that you visit Niki’s the next time you want to try something new.

I like to consider myself a foodie: with that being said … You can’t go wrong with this mom and pop place. The breakfast is the best in Suntree/Viera area. Best bacon ever! Nikki is my absolute favorite she is the greatest sense of humor and she take the time to memorize your order. Great prices and great lunch specials. Dinner menus is so reasonable especially with the family. The wine list is nice for a busy working Mom. The Chef at night is Cuban and everything that I’ve had that he’s recommended has been divine. The salmon in Filo dough with mushroom sauce melts in your mouth. I could go on and on. The cakes and pies are always fresh and you can order them for the holidays!!! Don’t tell my in laws. The Twins who work at night are adorable and their great with large parties! This places is a gem.

Came here last night after being disappointed at another restaurant that serves Greek food and I was so impressed! Food(I had a Greek platter and Soup) was just amazing. Portions were more then generous, food was served hot and fresh and just delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

Meh squared. The place is dated, food is average, and it never looks really clean. Of course I can’t tell if it is clean, but it sure helps to look it. The waitresses seem like they’re very busy doing whatever else it is they’re doing, so it’s rare to get a smile out of anyone there. And if I ask someone for something, I feel like I’m bothering them. That’s not a good way to train waitresses. The food is average, I usually won’t go there for anything except breakfast. They’re okay I guess, for an old restaurant.

Food here is good, but the staff do not make the atmosphere very pleasant. I came in to pick up a delivery one day and while waiting I observed a group of 12 women having a birthday lunch for one of their friends. They bought their own cake and asked for plates and forks. The owner for some reason made a big deal about this and decided the best course of action was to charge this group of women a dollar a plate. C’mon man — these people are having a good time and ordering a big meal at your restaurant and you are going to make a big deal about giving them plates for a birthday cake and then charge them. Can you be any cheaper? I am sure the 12 local women and their families will not be visiting again. Get it together — food is good but focus on customer service.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Filthy owners and filthy restaurant. The owner is completely rude and the food is mediocre at best. The overpriced menu isn’t worth the laminated piece of paper it is printed on. Avoid at all costs.

I have never posted on Unilocal before, but after this morning breakfast, I have to. We met some friends for some time to chat and visit on a Sunday morning over breakfast. The waitress took our order and was back only to drop the food off. We sat for maybe a hour eating and talking. As we were finishing up, the waitress was cleaning up the booth behind us and was talking out LOUD to make sure that we heard what she was saying. «This isn’t a social place, these people need to leave, how can we even make any money. « That alone is bad enough. Now for the food. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, with over easy eggs. The eggs were over HARD, and when I bit down and there was a bone chunk in the gravy, I had in it. I didn’t mention anything because we went there to have a nice time, not complain. The wife said her eggs were undercooked and she didn’t finish, but again she didn’t want to complain, but I didn’t find this out until later on in the day and she told me she was hungry because she didn’t finish her meal. Family Restaurant? I think that just means its owned by family. I WILLNEVER go there again. I can deal with some minor mistakes on food, but when we get attitude also from a waitress who is clearly one of the owners and she is just worried about seating to make more money, not if the food she served is good or even giving us good service? Well, go there if you want.

We were visiting my Mom in Melbourne looking for a local Mom and Pop restaurant and we found Niki’s. Loved the Dolmades and the Spanakopita and the clam chowder. The service was amazing — hat’s off to Leanne our waitress for making our dining experience so enjoyable.

FAMILY restaurant?! I am appalled. I brought my family here for dinner tonight & who I assume was the owner’s wife was screaming obscenities to be heard throughout the restaurant. My young daughter does NOT need to hear a grown woman screaming every 4 letter word in the book. The woman was screaming at some poor young girl from a delivery service for god knows why; truly belittling the girl, I wanted to go give her a hug! For maybe 20 minutes straight, this witch went on a screaming & cursing rant in the middle of FAMILY restaurant. Not to mention the restaurant is FILTHY; food is extremely overpriced for how mediocre it is. How is the restaurant still open? I will NEVER return to this restaurant. Do not give this terrible woman your money! Worst restaurant experience of my life.

This place is OK but very good or great is a stretch. I have been here more times than I can count. This is only because it is convenient for my parents and lately it is very obvious the food quality has gotten a little worse with every visit. They do have tasty sounding specials but they are bland at best. I do wish they had more Greek options here besides just the usual greek salad, gyro and spinach pie. Only problem would be they’d make it just as bland as their other dishes. Also this is the only place I have ever been to in Florida that charges for soda refills. This in itself is absolutely bizarre. They must be hard up for cash or something. I will not be returning.

I love the place I drive out about 10 miles to go there. I am from CA. 3 years past and we love big healthy breakfast there. Niki’s is the only place I have found in Melbourne period that does an excellent breakfast and to top that the staff are great and waitress remember who I am. I love it and prices are just right. I also bring guests and have never been let down. Just love Niki’s

Had a great meal the other night with the family. There was a new menu which had much more choice. A real improvement. I had grilled scallops with vegetables and pilaf which was delicious. My dad ate the stuffed haddock with french fries which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also ate the Manhattan seafood chowder for a starter and said, ‘It’s great. Good flavour.’ My mum ate a chicken gyro with french fries which she felt a bit guilty about but loved. I had room for a baklava for dessert and ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream to accompany it. Overall, an enjoyable meal and not pricey. Give it a try. Good place for the family.

In for a quick lunch with a group that I was doing business with in Melbourne. Ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich which s usually a deep-fried(forgive me) sandwich, but this came out more like a sndwich on french toast — didn’t matter it was good.

This is an exceptional mom & pops restaurant! Nice home like vibe, very courteous and friendly staff. Some of THEBESTPASTASAUCE that I’ve ever had in my life! I got their stuffed shells and the peanut butter chocolate pie for desert which was so amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Niki’s!

This week, we made our way back to one of our ‘standard’ diners for our weekly breakfast: Niki’s Family Restaurant in Suntree. I have never eaten any meals other than breakfast at Niki’s, so I’ll stick with that. The service is perhaps some of the best in the area. The staff is attentive and pleasant. We have rarely ever had much of a wait time for anything. And to that, I’ll add that we get our orders much faster than at just about any other establishment in the area. I barely had my iPad out before the order arrived. As always, one of my criteria for quality is crispiness of the bacon. I can always count on the bacon at Niki’s to be crisp. Not limp and/or undercooked like that served at lesser diners. One of the cons of the food though, is that I find it just a tad bit salty. For me, that’s not necessarily a bad thing(I have a horrible, horrible addiction to the fine white powders: salt and sugar). But this is very minor and it isn’t always that way. Today, I tried the western omelette with a side of country gravy. The omelette seemed a bit small for a three egg dish, but it was very, very good. The hash browns were cooked to perfection and the gravy was creamy and just right. Prices are very reasonable. Judging by the reviews of others, I will certainly give Niki’s a try for lunch or dinner. As for breakfast, you can’t lose.

This is a Suntree institution with a local following and the best food you will ever eat at such an afordable price. It’s the best place to go if you want a simple brunch or a classic homestyle dinner with mashed potatoes just like your mother always made. The staff is very friendly and if you sit at the bar, you are bound to run into many of the locals that frequent this restaurant daily. Niki’s offers a wide range of food from Greek & Italian to American with daily fish and steak specialities. They also have a reasonably priced wine list and cold draft beer is on tap. P. S. — Try the Greek Salad.
