Dr. Marcin is a board-​certified Optometrist, and member of the American Academy of Optometry. After practicing in Green Bay, WI, Dr. Marcin moved to Melbourne, FL in 1987, and established his practice at this location in 1993. Dr. Lynn Johnson joined the practice in 2004.

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Dr. Marcin earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree (with distinction) from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. Dr. Marcin then joined a group practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he was also a consultant to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, as well as staff Optometrist at the Oneida Indian Health Center. While in Wisconsin, Dr. Marcin was a clinical investigator for Food and Drug Administration studies of new contact lenses and solutions, and was a consultant item writer for the ocular disease section of the National Board of Optometry. Dr. Marcin was accepted as a member of the American Academy of Optometry in 1996.
