History
Established in 1978.
My step-father started in Ashland, Kentucky 61 years ago with a paint store. He worked at the paint store in the day and steel mill at night.
He started selling wall paper along with the paint, then grew to carpet and blinds.
We have been operating in West Melbourne for 37 years in the same location. It started in a house, and in 1980 we where able to build the building we are in now.
We are still a family operation, with three generations working and four on the way.
The customer has always been our main priority, because without them we don’t have a business.
We have a comfortable showroom and will strive to make you feel at home. We have a play area for the children, where you can see your children while you shop.

Manager
My Name is Simone, I was raised in Kentucky and I am country thru and thru. I graduated from High School in South Point, OH with honors. I majored in business, I was editor of our High School yearbook. I attended college in Florida earning a degree in business.
I raised two boys in the West Melbourne area, keeping them involved in sports in West Melbourne, and Central Junior High, then Melbourne High School.
I have five grandchildren who all live locally. and are also involved in sports in West Melbourne.
I attend church faithfully and I am the director of music at my church. I teach a children’s class at my church where we learn music, crafts and bible lessons.
I am involved in a music program at the local prison and try to give back to my community.
My step-father, Fred Chapman, the founder of our business passed away six years ago. He was a great mentor and my biggest supporter. He gave me two lessons on floor covering and set me on my own. That was 28 years ago.
