Ok first off don’t be discourage by the negative reviews. I’ve gotten my nails done various places and came here when I was crunched for time. I had the most beautiful French gel manicure. This lasted 3 half weeks. The pedicure was great too !

This has been the absolute worst experience at nail salon ever! First, they has a terrible selection of nail colors and a bunch of non brand nail polishes maybe that’s just me but I like to see opi, essie or orly as my selection. She started my nails and right away she was terrible with the drill!!! She kept on hitting my cuticles and catching the skin to the point I was bleeding. I literally kept saying ouch! Then she had the nerve to say you can’t move, note I didn’t move the entire time. Then she started the filing and you could tell she was rushing but I was the only person in the place. She asked me if I wanted a trim on my nails and just got the clippers and cut what she wanted and didn’t even consult with me! I had completely square nails she made them oval! I told her to stop filing already and she insisted to finish her horrible job. She then kept on going back and forth between the drill and file over five time! I then washed my hands, she still had all the debris from my nails still on her gloves then massaged my hand with lotion!!! It was so bad I didn’t even get my nails painted. Please don’t ever waste your time here. I will never return!

I knew I should of never made a rush decision in getting my nails done. You know I figured since I was in the area I should go to the closest one… The woman who did my nails was nice, but she was horrible at doing a manicure. She missed sides of my nails, and she also made my fingers bleed. Eww. I have never had that happen before, I was in pain at a nail salon… I wasn’t getting a wax so why was I in pain… on the bright side there is a young girl who works in there, who wasn’t even my stylist… but she was super friendly, nice, bubbly, if you go here make sure you get her! she takes her time and does a swell job!

I guess I’m just spoiled because I had the perfect nail salon back where I used to live. These guys are perfectly adequate and they do a good, if a little hurried, job. As Karen mentioned, there are no appointments. Just show up. It’s never been terribly busy when I’ve gone, so I’m sure you’ll be seen promptly. Prices are good, there’s a selection of somewhat out of date magazines and the TV is always on to some kind of soap operas. Also like Karen said, it’s a bit tough to get into and there isn’t much parking.

I am vacillating between 3 and 4 stars — here’s why… I drove in(easy to get in — but hard to drive out — you must exit onto Route 1 and it is a divided highway there — so you have to go down to the next traffic light and then turn around to go the other way. Located on a busy corner of Route 1 and 452, this place has been here 11 years! It is freshly painted and bright and cheery inside. WALKINSONLY. They do not take appointments. NEVER.(Really? Yes, really.) Meanwhile, It was not crowded on a Tuesday evening, but I bet there’s a big wait on Saturdays. Anyhow they offer many«tiers» of service from a basic $ 11 mani, to a cheapie $ 20 no-frills pedi to the $ 55 Delux spa pedi. I went for the $ 36 spa pedi — a regular pedi with 10 minutes of extra massage(Ti-Kim — my technician — set a TIMER.). So far, so good. However, the polish selection are all no-name brands — with a few scattered bottles of OPI. My suggestion — bring your own polish(and possibly your own base and top coat.) The real test will be when I get a mani here. Oh — and they do gels for $ 25. It’s OK — but I have been spoiled by high quality/low cost NYC nail care(and more recently 4 sisters in Center City — the newer location). Ti-Kim is a lovely lady — so see if she is there if you go. I will be back — this place is leaps and bounds ABOVE the other spots I’ve seen in Media/Aston.

I got a full set there for only $ 25 and they did an amazing job! It was nice and quiet when I went in but I have seen them really busy at times. A sign on the door says walk-ins only.
