I love Raso’s. Ive had my rehearsal dinner and birthday here, and they do not disappoint. The food is excellent, and the drinks(martinis) are to die for! The apple martini and espresso martini are honestly the best I’ve had, and I’ve tried a lot! As of late, the menu prices do seem to be increasing, while the portion sizes decrease, and that is my only critique! Highly recommend the calamari app!

Decent restaurant right in the heart of Medford. I got the baked haddock it was decent however the portion of fish was pretty small, it comes with two sides and the portions of those were generous. Great sweet potato fries. Our server was a young gentleman who was great! Full bar, decent wine selection. My family got pasta dishes and all reported that it wasn’t amazing but was good. Most meals between 17 – 25 dollars.

Chicken parm was OK and eggplant rollatini appetizer was inedible. 100% worth a visit for the townie ambiance though.

Love this place. My boyfriend and I go here quite frequently. It’s a great local spot for awesome food and delicious drinks. I think between the both of us we have tried mostly everything on the menu. Staff is so friendly and very personable. Must try place you won’t be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, always busy, and never disappoints. One of my favorite Italians places in the area. I love their burgers! When I work on Saturdays with my father we end up usually here.

Great friendly family style service. I recommend the spaghetti puttanesca and the Caesar salad. Can’t wait to come back, they have late hours which is very convenient when flying Kate at Logan from the west coast.

The best pizza in Boston! I prefer Raso’s pizza over all the other well known places in the area. Everything about it is perfect: sauce, toppings, crust. Other dishes are great too. Their chicken parm is a must have. The wings are delicious. The New York strip is excellent. The mussels… yum! The cocktails here are also pretty good. Have a seat in the bar area and hang out with the locals. The service is usually decent, but sometimes you get a little attitude. What do you expect, it’s Medfid, kid!

The ambiance was nice granite everywhere so that’s a plus. I got turkey tips and mashed potatoes both were great and my side salad had a perfect coating of dressing on it… Portion was good about 5 good size Turkey Tips… A friend got Chicken Parm pasta that looked delicious… And my other friend got a panini of some sort I wasn’t crazy about… However I stole one fry & It was tasty so I guess good fries Service was timely I have our say they could throw around a few more smiles and jokes other than that little extra I was good to go…

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and I thought it was a great neighborhood spot! The atmosphere was very clean, cozy, and inviting. The food was delicious and exactly what I was in the mood for! It is tasty Classic Italian American comfort food. The burrata appetizer I had really went above and beyond I must say. We also ordered the lemon dessert that has been featured on phantom gourmet and the brownie sunday, my oh my what a treat! I don’t care how full you may feel order dessert at this restaurant!

Awesome food, awesome service, great place to enjoy yourself without over paying. Try this place out. Also they cater and make awesome spreads for big events.

My biggest pet peeve: list one price on the menu, then charge a higher price. Even if it’s a dollar or two, it’s the principle. Food was just okay. Drinks too expensive for the area.

Nothing special. Kind of a tired dark dingy place. Uninspired menu. Run of the mill Italian red sauce joint. More of a bar with food than a restaurant with a bar. Very poor service. Pricier than the space, food and service should be. Just not much to specifically complain or crow about. About as average as it gets.

I’ve had a gift card to here for about 3 years. Just because I don’t live anywhere near here any longer is not reason to go here. If that sentence does not make sense either does going here to eat. Stopped on a rainy Saturday afternoon with a very pregnant wife and a buddy for lunch. No beers on tap, the bartender commented on how everyone looks around for the tap selection. Maybe that means you should install at tap system. Poor selection of bottles, most local beer was Harpoon. We ordered the calamari to start, nothing special served with a side of mayo. I realize that I didn’t read the menu left the ordering up to the lady, but who serves a dish like that with anything but a red sauce. MAYO. ohh well Ordered two pizzas one red one white. I think they forgot that they had gotten them delivered. Took about 30 minutes for our pizzas to come out. Which would not have been a big deal if they came out crispy and wonderful. They did not. They came out greasy and chewy. About a whole pizza was boxed up and taken home, not by me. I love pizza even mediocre pizza, this was not even that. There was a painting party that took over the majority of the dining room and when we walked in a couple of the bar tables had reserved signs on them. I guess they really only want local regulars to eat here. The bartender was kind and over loaded with her responsibilities, I don’t fault her for out poor experience.

Was told that the appearance was rough, but food and drinks made up for it. In truth, the place was not good. Food was average at best, cheap Italian. Pasta poor quality, sauce bad, would have preferred Applebee’s. Prices didn’t match quality, if I’m paying $ 20 for an entrée in Medford, it should be decent.

«Are we eating in a trailer?» «Come inside, you’ll see» Raso’s is awesome! Delicious food, inventive cocktails, family owned, friendly staff. Yummy pizza, yummy everything else. Friends, never judge a book by its cover.

Came to Raso’s when our go-to Salvatore’s was SLAMMED on a Friday night. It’s a convenient area, easy to park, and we were seated quickly. Wasn’t majorly impressed by the décor — the place looks like it used to be something else and they tossed some restaurant furniture in there and called it a restaurant. It’s not bad, it just doesn’t blow you away décor-wise. HUGE projection tv in the dining room and a tv in the bar area makes it more of a sports bar with booths than an actual«restaurant». We sat at the table for at least ten minutes. I’m not exaggerating. Seriously… ten. Servers walked by us, busboys walk by us, nada. Finally my date gets up and asks the man at the host stand what’s up. He is shocked no one has helped us yet and promises someone will be over soon. After that, I was expecting basically instant service, but no, we waited a few more minutes before our server made his way to us. When he got there, he explained that there was a miscommunication among the waiters and apologized. I can understand that — we’re all human — but there was nothing done to remedy the fact that we sat so long we almost walked out. There definitely could have been more effort to make sure we were satisfied(even comping our salad would have been plenty!). I don’t blame the waiter, but I stand by my statement. We ordered our food: pizza for me and chicken parm for him. My pizza was humongoloid and surprisingly delicious!(Think: Ronny’s Place). The sauce was not too acidic(almost a vodka sauce mmmmmm). Loved it. His parm was«standard». The drinks are overpriced, IMO, especially when the price increases are hand-written over scratched-out original pricing on the menu. If you are going to charge me $ 10.50 for a drink, at least have it printed on the menu. I shouldn’t have to pay $ 10.50 for a handwritten priced item off the drink menu in a sports bar in Medford. Just sayin’. We’re not in the Back Bay… I would come back, but I would dress way down. Pizza and beer are a go – dinner is a MAYBE — nice dinner, not so much. ** Side note: I will definitely come back in the summer to eat outside. The quality of the food was good enough for a return trip **

Interesting little place in an unlikely location among industrial buildings. A few negatives need attention but overall it is worth a visit. 1. Service is terrific with friendly helpful staff. 2. Food is sound. The eggplant terrine is fantastic. Sandwiches are generous but they do overwhelm you with the fries. The health fanatic in me would have loved bit more greens with dressing and less fries. 3. Salads are very nicely presented and generous. 4. They make a perfect martini. 5. Prices are very reasonable; something not easily found in the metro area today. 6. The bar area is comfortable with nice TV’s to watch the a game. The only real draw back is there is general clutter around the entry area and when I looked into the dinning room there was scraps of paper and other items on the carpet. I could see my 84 year old mothers noise turn up hence we ate in the bar. A bit more attention to the housekeeping is needed. All in all a nice place worth the trip.

Went there to meet up with some friends for New Years Eve. Even though I live in Medford Raso’s just isn’t on my list of go to places at least not on a consisten basis. Food is pretty good and the bar area is cool but small. The other thing is the regulars who fill up the place tend to believe they are… well… how do I put it… mobbed up. My last name begins and ends in a vowel so I’m not talking out of line. NYE they had basically turned the back dining area into a disco. Great music and free pizza. The white pizza was really yummy. I like the outdoor patio they’ve recently added. Not a great view but al fresco is always cool. No beers on tap but they do have Heineken Light. YEAH!
