The Learning and Play Center is a private, non-​profit agency, with a STAR 3 certification, operated inside the First Church of God.

Our mission is to provide family-​centered, quality childcare services that respect, support, and empower individual children and families.

The Center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare and meets applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

The Center is overseen by the Administrative Counil of the First church of God.

We provide care for children ages birth to six years. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided daily. Educational program follows the Creative Curriculum. Child observations and work sampling are used to document and record your child’s developmental progress.

History

Established in 1992.

Meet the Manager

Billy Jo B.

Manager

Billy Jo Burger is the Director of the Learning and Play Center. She became the director in 2011, and has worked hard to reorganize the center, providing a strong leadership foundation, and making many positive changes in order to best serve our children and families.
