Ovation at Park Crest

I love this building. This is the only building in the Tysons Corner Area with the doors to the apartments on each floor right outside the elevator. No super long hallways to get to your apartment. There are 4 elevators 2 on each side of the building. It’s like two towers put together. The apartments are very modern and the management does take really good care of the units so you don’t have to worry about a thing when you move in. Very clean. The units are spacious and have high ceilings. I’ll admit the units may be a little cramped for some people. I did a lot of research on a lot of rental apartments before moving to Ovation. I chose Ovation because of its convenient lifestyle and modern amenities. I did sacrifice some space compared to what I would be paying somewhere else, but I got peace and quiet instead. I can barely hear my neighbors or the sounds outside. It is just very peaceful here. Secure and safe building. Surprisingly a lot of families live in this building. True floor to ceiling windows. Spacious bedrooms. And it’s is easy to maintain clean. I believe they offer a concierge laundry service, but it’s a separate fee. Swimming pool, two party rooms, a gym, and an office room. Great outdoor spaces with two gas grills, a dog park, outdoor fire place, plenty of outdoor seating, and bocci ball court. Pet friendly. Free coffee in the morning until evening. What more can I say about this amazing building? Kettler really outdid themselves with this one. Christina the leasing agent is amazing! I recommend you go see her for all you leasing needs, OR you can call me as I am a real estate agent and I can help you directly as well ;) (not affiliated with Kettler). Either way the staff here is amazing. Very trustworthy and truly top notch! Thank you Ovation for being a great part of my life! I truly enjoy living here. Highly recommended!

Looking back at the reviews, I wish I saw the 1 star and very honest review from ⁵⁄₂₀₁₅ prior to moving here. This is a 1 star apartment community in more ways than one. I’m now skeptical of 5-​star Unilocal reviews after living at Ovation. At least three of the 5-​star reviews of Ovation are by people who do not even live in Ovation.
Here’s my honest account of Ovation:
1) Smokers. Everyone complains about them. The office is aware that people are smoking inside and directly outside the building, on patios and outside of entry doors. My apartment as well as the hallways have been filled with smoke.
2) Late night parties. Many of the units in Ovation are owned by companies that rent them out on a nightly basis to vacationers. Moreover, there are residents in the building whom the front office has given permission to hold loud parties well beyond quiet hours. Numerous residents have complained about the loud parties in the «Play room» which are audible across two floors.
3) Safety. There is no security staff in the building. There is no patrol. There is no security number to call if there’s a concern. Wheels and hubcaps have been stolen from cars. Dog walkers have been assaulted and harassed numerous times.
4) Common areas (only the first floor) are cleaned just before apartment showing hours. The cleaning staff are the most hardworking staff at Ovation. They do a great job, but keep in mind that between 6 pm and 7 am the common areas are dirty.

My wife and I love living here. It’s become more than just an apartment, it’s truly our home. The community is always spotless, the staff is amazing, and the amenities are great. The location is also ideal — just steps from Harris Teeter, Tysons, and the metro. It’s also very quiet and secure, which is unique for the area. We just renewed our lease for a second year and are excited!

I’m super picky about my living quarters with a strong preference for class A, top-​tier luxurious bldgs with lots of ammenities. And that’s exactly what I got at Ovation.
Everything you’d expect in a luxury apartment community can be found there. Ovation @ Park Crest raises the bar on luxury apartment living and hands down delivers on quality.

I met with Christina last Sunday to look at an apartment at the Ovation. She was very upbeat, cheerful and helpful. I ended up leasing elsewhere but found her to be extremely upbeat and professional. Go see Christina. She is terrific to work with!

Ovation is definitely a 5 star community! The management team is courteous, responsive, and welcoming. They’ve made us feel at home from our first point of contact and throughout the whole move-​in process. The area feels extremely safe and you can not beat the convenience of the ²⁴⁄₇ Harris Teeter grocery store/​pharmacy next door. The building is tucked away so you don’t have to deal with the Tysons corner traffic but you still have amazing shopping/​restaurants within walking distance.
The amenities are unbeatable– there is a business center, 2 club rooms, ²⁴⁄₇ gym, swimming pool, grilling patio, and dog park. The community even has a fully furnished guest suite for residents to rent out to friends and family when they come to visit.
The apartment finishes are upgraded/​top of the line– granite, wood flooring, modern fixtures, stainless steel, etc. I would high recommend this building to anyone looking to move in the Tysons/​McLean area. Great value and location!

It is a beautiful building with nice amenities but it should be with 2 bedroom rent north of $ 3k. That doesn’t even include the parking! The staff in the leasing office has been mediocre in my dealings with them, had to follow up multiple times. The concierge staff on the other hand has been very friendly and helpful. Watch out on your end game, like most places they jack up the rent when you have to go less than a full term on the renewal. Visitor parking is a joke and they lock the garage when the leasing office closes so you have to go down to let someone into the garage at that point. Good location but I don’t think it is worth what they are charging.

The general manager, Vini Kovach is such an angel. God bless her heart. Just ask to say hi to her when you visit and you will see what I’m talking about.
«I believe living in a apartment you call home is a place you should be happy to come to at the end of the day.» Vini once said to me. I truly miss seeing her as I arrived from work.
This is the best place I have ever lived period… because the one in charge went all lengths to make sure her residents were happy and had any issue encountered, resolved at all cost.
Had to transfer to another a Kettler property which was closer to work, Capital One. Otherwise I would have stayed longer. I might go back in the future if she is still the general manager when I make that decision.

Love what the apartment has to offer, beautiful interior, staffs are mostly nice and attentive. However, the lifeguards they hire are useless, they spend most of their time on the phone even though there are so many small kids swimming.
I know I gave it a 3 stars before because of the Lifeguard. However, I truly believe they deserve 5 star rating all the way. Their apartments and amenities are way better than a five-​star hotel that we’ve been to, they have beautiful business room which has Mac desktops, a printer for you to use and free Wifi.
The swimming pool is so nicely maintained, the entrance is beautifully decorated with chandeliers, a high-​tech-​coffee-​machine when you need a cup of latte or hot chocolate.
We love it so much we actually don’t want to buy a house just so we can live here:))

The building is beautiful, the units are stunning, neighborhood is great, and it is a rather safe place. With that being said, the management is not that great. Since this building is advertised as a «luxury living» experience, we should then expect the best customer service. That is not the case. Past the signing-​your-​lease experience, the management stops being «exquisite».
This building has a designated coffee/​tea room they advertise as ²⁴⁄₇ available… well, there has been absolutely zero coffee in the coffee room in over 4 months. How is it possible for a place that charges top dollar for rent to not offer their advertised services to their current residents?
One of the biggest issues is the pool’s temperature. The water was freezing cold throughout the summer and the management refused to turn on the water heaters to save energy… however, the pool must have been heated throughout the winter in order to keep it open for the sole purpose of impressing prospective residents.
Smokers are allowed to stand right by the front entrance (and even on the patio area) and smoke freely, even though the law prohibits such things… kids live here too, kids who should not have to inhale cigarette smoke as their first breath of «fresh-​air».
This is a pet friendly place indeed, but still no Rottweilers should be allowed in an apartment complex… and yet somehow I rode in the elevator with one several times.
The parking garage is not maintained at all. There is a thick layer of dirt that covers the ground (and stored bikes).
Imagine how fun it is to be taking a shower and out of the blue a maintenance guy walks in… that happened here too.
Bottom line… nice building (but so are other ones around this area) run by not-​so-​great management. Im surprised they are a part of the Kettler Management Co. which usually offers stellar customer service to its clients.

Moved to the Ovation in August but have been in contact with the ladies in the leasing office since about May. Vini, the PM here is incredible! She took me on a tour around the entire community during my initial visits and we even trekked into construction areas in our high heels after my persistence in checking out the higher floors that werent quite finished– talk about going above and beyond. Vini, and our marketing rep, Christina were very patient while I searched apartments in the area, always keeping me updated and knowledgeable on apt availability and proactively notifying me of their current promotions. Along with the fantastic concierge, Martin, whom I cannot rave enough about –his friendly and welcoming smile and attitude was the first impression I had with Ovation and made a world of difference– remembered my name from day one before I was even a tenant. Since moving in, the staff has been fabulous and accommodating, the grounds kept up beautifully and my views from the 17^th floor never get old. Ovation is a wonderful home and community!

Staff here it is just amazing. I move from Florida and they help me throughout the process of moving. Looking all the information I need it to have an easy transition. The amenities are simply amazing. Great gym, computer center, game room and even a dog park. I have a dog and I haven’t met a place nor employee that shows so much love for pets. They always have such a great attitude towards residents and pets. It’s simply amazing. If you are looking for a place to live I truly recommend this apartment complex. You won’t regret it.

I moved from Florida as we’ll and live here! I cousins choose a better place, close to the metro, and to my job. The staff here is amazing. Very attentive and nice! They love pets and encourage them to play with other pets. The doggy park is small but so cute. My puppy loves it and loves her new friends here.

Hate to be the first reviewer, and be so negative, but it is what it is. if I could give this place zero stars I would. My husband and I just went over to see the apartments, as we are looking to move to a bigger place. We arrived in the leasing center, and we were not even acknowledged by anyone… even by the leasing agent who looked right at us as we walked in. After spending another 5+ min in the leasing office (without acknowledgement) we took it upon ourselves to wander around the property for a few min, thinking someone would eventually come up to us… nope…not a soul. This is even after being buzzed up from the garage… so they knew we were coming. Overall, there is NO WAY we would spend $ 3k on a place where no one was watching anything, and would allow total strangers to wander around unwatched. Horrible place!!!
