Loayes Painting and Contracting

I can’t speak highly enough of Loayes Painting. They did a great job on several painting projects and minor carpentry bathroom items. The painting is very concise. The patching of holes was very clean. The rates were not cheap but fairly reasonable. The only negative comment I had was that it was difficult to get in touch with them initially. I had to be a little persistent to get them to schedule a time to come out. However once we got past that road block, all went well. Edwin was great to work with. Very happy and would use them again.

After a power surge and electrical fire to our home, we have needed a lot of work done to bring everything back to normal. When the firemen came to our home, there was damage to our walls, baseboards, and floors on two levels. Having had to deal with nearly a dozen different contractors for all the necessary various repairs, we know to be wary — they aren’t all as honest or reliable as they may appear. After finding Loayes Painting and Contracting so highly reviewed on Angie’s List, we decided to give them a call for an estimate. The man, Edwin, who came over to give the estimate was quick but thorough. He said he could have a team come out just two days later to do the work, and that it would be done in a day. My husband and I — who have heard time estimates before which always actually take two or three times longer — weren’t sure if they could really do it all in one go. But we hired them!
Long story short — two men from Loayes came over at 8 this morning and left at 6:30 tonight — with everything not just done, but BEAUTIFULLY and METICULOUSLY crafted. The drywall repair is excellent — you could never tell there were huge, gaping holes just yesterday! The new woodwork, insulation, and painting that they did was also pristine. We were so, so pleased with the professionalism and the product that I decided I just had to hop onto Unilocal ASAP and give these guys a shout-​out. Contractors can be an absolute pain, but this company was a PLEASURE to work with. And, while insurance is covering all of our costs so that is not a major concern of ours, I believe they are reasonable. We will definitely use them in the future if we need additional work for any of their areas of expertise.
