I love Chop’t in Mclean! I seriously go there at least two or three times a week! All the salad ingredients are always fresh and I am always greeted with a smile! The portions are so big that I can always have more than one meal. The Manager Robin is especially sweet and makes sure everything is spotless! I am so glad I found them! Best salads ever!!!

At first I was overwhelmed with the variety of salads I could get get, but the menu made it easy because it had a «first time suggestion list.» I didn’t get one of those, and I didn’t make my own really. I chose the steak salad and I really wanted the sesame dressing even though the listed dressings for the steak salad were two I didn’t like. It turned out I could get it with sesame dressing and I was able to get it on the side! This was a great place and definitely would go again now that I know how this place works. You order your salad and then the counter people chop it up like an ice cream mix in! Cool! Looking forward to a chance to go back and try the salad with chicken and avocado!

i stopped by here for a quick dinner one night after my friend had been raving about the mexican caesar salad. i usually go to the chop’t competitors out of convenience but i really love how the salads here are chopped! i do realize that is a silly comment considering the name of the shop but i didn’t realize that was an option and how well it mixes up the salad into bite size pieces. everyone was really nice who helped us and the shop is super clean!

Well, they have the worst dressing… Though my peers love it.

This chopt has much better ambiance than the chopt in Rosslyn. The food seems fresher as well.

Awesome food. Great service. Clean environment. It’s all good here… It can be long lines and waiting if you time it wrong… I have no idea how they hire but they must pay more than average — the guys behind the counter are super friendly and patient…

Welcomed addition to McLean. I take friends here knowing they are going to like the experience. Tasty, fresh food. I like the Mexican Caesar with chicken. The Steak House salad with smoky bacon russian is also a game winner. Light on the dressing though.

It is rare for me to rave about a dinner salad — but wow this place has been impressive. Hubby got the Chicken Tinga(really flavorful, perfect on this rainy day), and I got the Kebob Cobb(delicious dressing, texture is excellent with crunch). What makes this even better was the exceptional service. We were greeted with smiles, asked if we wanted to try the felafel before purchasing, and given as much time as we needed to peruse their varied menu without so much as a sigh. It was very comfortable for us two newbies to come in without knowing what to do/order/say. On top of that, the manager was exceptional. Angel accepted our«free lunch» passes for the dinner items(not sure if they are different but he has no hesitation to honor the free meal cards) and even added our drinks without charge. Yes, I did offer. But he did not accept, and that’s just a really nice touch as we had no expectations when walking in. The chopt detox lemonade is killer! It’s so so good. It contains lemonade, maple syrup and cayenne pepper… Seriously try it. If spicy is not your style, the strawberry lemonade is also excellent as it is not too sweet but totally satisfying. We will both be coming back. Not only for great service but for the tasty selections as well — similar salad places in the area can probably use more flavor and should find these guys as formidable competitors :)

Best of the salad joints in McLean. Still not sure why we have 3, but it is the best.

The newest Chop’t outpost in the DC area is definitely my favorite. It’s a larger format than all of the others I’ve been in, so even during busy periods, there’s ample seating for everyone — and if you’re lucky enough to snag a booth, there are AC and USB outlets right next to the salt and pepper grinders! My go-to Chop’t salad is the Mexican Caesar. Romaine lettuce for the base, topped with green peppers, jalapeños, cotija cheese, and tortilla chips(instead of croutons, nice twist). I always get it with double chipotle chicken(gotta get that protein in, after all), and the heat in both the chipotle chicken and the Mexican Caesar salad dressing give the salad a nice kick, leaving you with that very light, satisfying burn in your mouth. I never get tired of this salad and could eat it every day!

Where have you been all my life? I love Chop’t and go to other locations, mostly in DC, all the time. Finally old, stodgy McLean has a Chop’t. This location is really nice, better drinks, lots of seating,…but hey what do you expect, its the suburbs. The restaurant is still new and most of the people are too, but it’s great. Now I have a place to go get great salads when I’m in McLean.

This was my first experience with Chop’t and I would have to say I have no complaints thus far. When I heard one was opening right next to my job, I got super have excited. I’ve been eating at SweetGreen since they opened and I wanted something new. Everything looks really clean, there’s a good variety of options, and I do really like that they chop up the salad(which I’m guessing is the point). The price is a little lower than SweetGreen and the size of salad and flavors are much more to my liking. I tried the the Mexican Caesar salad with spinach and kale instead of the romaine. It was delicious! I really look forward to trying their other menu items.

Finally. McLean is starting to get the restaurants it needs. Chop’T is a welcome addition. The 13th& G DC location is always packed. This is a brand new location — so beautifully done and pristine and clean. The line was long, but handled very well. The Choppers are cheerful. Chop’T Po Boy is still the best. Well done! This is a unique concept that really is consistent in its execution. This location will do very well. Next door to Total Beverage, McLean Hardward and Advance Auto. Great staff attitudes. Great job of staffing a new store!!! And lots of tables. .. . which is rare in McLean.

Just went in this new restaurant and we really love it! They have so many ways to customize your salad so we’ll definitely be back again many times. Everyone was very friendly and the place is clean because it’s new.

I’m so glad one of these opened closer to my house though honestly I’m still waiting for the Vienna location to open. Anyway, I used to work near the one in Rosslyn, so I really missed it when I changed jobs. This location is great. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I’m glad I can add Chop’t back into my life.

My wife suggested this new salad place in McLean… me of course psft the idea of salad as a meal. This location is right next to Books-a-Million and Advance Auto parts in the former Suntrust/Bank of America location. Upon entering, the place was fresh, clean and modern. We were greeted warmly. We were also overwhelmed by the choices. But the friendly and helpful staff explained how to order. You can order a specially made salad they have on the menu or just make your own. You can have either a warm or cold salad. They also have sandwiches. Check out the menu online at . You can make your own salad but it’s a tad more expensive but you get what you want. A couple more bucks. They also have like 12 or more different dressings. I ordered the Chop’t Po’boy with Panko chicken with Spa(Lite) Rex Mex Ranch. And a multi grain flatbread was included. The salad was a huge portion and it was delicious and you saw them make it in front of you. They have no soad but bottled/canned water juices, and assorted teas and lemonades via fountain. All healthy choices and very tasty. The food was great and so was the service. THISPLACE is going on regular rotation for us as a healthy, fresh, light, and delicious alternative to heavy cuisine.
