I started Jim Handy to the Rescue out of the necessity of being a single Dad and the need to be able to work my schedule around my boys to be there for them as much as possible and still provide for them. God chose this for me as he has many things in my life and I am blessed. Life is what happens to you when you are making other plans.

My children are my life. I have been very fortunate and blessed to have had the luxury of being able to work and be successful without it taking away from my kids. Other than that what else is there? I am a volunteer Children’s Advocate for Collin County Courts working out of the McKinney CASA. I have also been the Commander for all of the NE quarter of Dallas for years in the mid 1990’s. I also ran for State Representative in Arizona in 1992 on a double dog dare from my then 12 yr old daughter and we almost won. In the end i am just a Dad.
