History

Established in 2015.

We had this idea to open an optical store that can provide unparalleled optical services back in October 2014. My name is Chhaya, my wife and I decided to open our own store due to passion I have for taking care of my customers the way I prefer. With some help from friends and family we were able to make our dream come true. We have a combined 30 plus years of optical experience and is excited with the opportunity that God have given us. We want to be a blessing to the community, we look forward to it and welcome it.

I’ve been in the optical business for over 18 years and finally decided to go out on my own. I was nervous and afraid of the opportunity but jumped in by faith and trust in God. I worked at several optical location throughout my years, most notably at Sam’s Club here in McDonough, Ga. I ran Sam’s Club the way I preferred. Take care of customers no matter what. I didn’t go by the book and was able to be successful at Sam’s. I saw this as an eye opener and wanted to open The Eyecare Place and do things my way and not have to look over my shoulder. Since opening, there have been ups and downs which I expected. I thank my friends and family for their support and thank God for the opportunity. This is his place, his vessel, I am just the keeper and the driver. «God blesses you so you can bless others.»
