To sell delicious and remarkable food and drinks. That the food and drink we sell meets the highest standards of quality, freshness and seasonality and combines both modern-​creative and traditional mexican styles of cooking. We continue to use the founder’s recipes for all of our dishes. Our now famous fajita meats are marinated in-​house, and only the highest quality meats are utilized to prepare our dishes. We only use local produce growers, and managers personally choose fresh produce to be used in our dishes. Exquisite flavor and creative cooking are two of the most important tenants adopted by our staff to produce mexican dishes that will transport you south of the border.

History

Established in 2014.

Castillo Real Mexican Cocina & Bar is located in Mcdonough, Ga, 2 miles east of downtown Mcdonough in the Lake Dow community. This culinary project makes homage to the original El Castillo Mexican Restaurant more than 20 years ago in Clayton county. We prepare all of our products in-​house, daily and with only the freshest ingredients; with the highest food safety preparation methods. Patrons are mesmerized with original décor and sounds that excite the senses. From our original paintings that reflect mexican folklore, to giant sized wall murals that will transport you south of the border. It is our wish that you will feel at home while visiting us in Mcdonough, and that you will enjoy our dishes with your family and friends.

Manager

Francisco is a lot of fun to be around. He always makes sure to come out and chat with customers about their experience while visiting us. He also shares his experiences in the restaurant business, and enjoys telling friends and customers about them. He has worked as a kitchen manager for over 15 years, and he loves cooking and making sure recipes and dishes are prepared and cooked to perfection.
