My first experience, opening day, was not that great. However, it appears they have worked out the kinks. I went through the drive thru at lunch time, which was a little longer wait than going through, let’s say Chick-fil-a, but worth the wait. The food is greasy but it is good. I ordered the Patty Melt plate with the fries. It was yummmmmy, but not for the heatlhy eater! You’re going to have to put that diet aside to eat at this resturant. The drive thru service was good and the order was accurate. Good place to get an all American burger and fries.

This place is alright. It’s got a real«bring your kids here after their sports game» vibe to it. It was packed when I went and we were lucky to find a table. The food was good for the most part, seemed similar in taste as a typical fast food restaurant. The highlight of my visit was the fact that they had a veggie burger on the menu, turned out pretty dang good for the most part. Fell apart in my hands like every restaurant veggie burger does though.

We like Freddies! Always good food fresh! Place is clean and comfortable. It’s not real close to home so when we go we are generally out shopping. We will definitely be back!

Love this place. Good food, friendly staff, quick service, good music too. Even when it’s slammed and people walk to wall ordering and eating the service is quick and pleasant.

The food is pricey and tastes decent. It’s sort of like steak n shake but they have custard, their fries were just ok not memorable at all, the burgers were just blah… they had a line wrapped around the building though so many locals to this area really enjoy it. I guess because there is no steak n shake near by. The customer service was friendly, prompt, and the food purchase was cooked to order. Even with the drive thru wrapped around the building the line moved steady and the wait time wasn’t bad at all. The young lady at window even thanked us for our patience. Would I come back? Yes. the cheese burgers are decent like a step above a really good wendys burger but I plan on trying the custard. I like steak n shake better but this place is worth trying out. A combo will run you about $ 7-$ 8 and they have everything from hotdogs to patty melts to burgers.

I haven’t eaten in but the place is usually full so I would think that the burgers and such are pretty good. I always get the frozen custard. Can’t be beat!

I went to Freddys Frozen Custard & Steakburger over the weekend, Moms and Sister were like hey wanna try it I said sure lets go, first when we head inside theres no booths for us to sit down being it was a party of 3. When we did realize we had to stand in line to order(OOOHNO) didn’t sit to well wiell with me but we sucked it up and got a small table … The food was GOOD I ordered the Bacon Double Cheeseburger with No Onions, No Fries(gimmie the Onion Rings) ~~~I know weird right lol fry sauce with a Diet Dr Pepper, when the food came out the Burger was good, down to the very last bite I wish I had one right now, the Bacon wasn’t burnt it was pleasantly grilled so good that It had a nice length to it so much bacon I could refold it in my burger to have more baconary taste. The Onion Rings were good as well very fresh indeed Cons: That Fry sauce was Nasty it was Bland didn’t have no taste at all I will never ask for it again but I will indeed get me a Burger from here one mo gin.

Really good patti melts and fries(try the fry sauce!). I tried the funnel cake(with ice cream and strawberries) for the first time today and that was a really good treat.

After eating here, you’ll never look at Steak and Shake the same way ever again. Fast, friendly and delicious. Pretty typical menu of a classic burger joint: burgers; fries, hot dogs, and custard based desserts, all done a variety of different ways. Freddy’s does fewer things than other burger places but they do them better and they do it with that classic diner approach. Service here is very polite. Someone always walks the floor to clear finished trays and baskets from in front of you which gives you more room on the table to put your elbows. They also will get you refills if you would like. Allergen Alert: Fried foods are all cooked in peanut oil and some desserts have tree nuts. Freddy’s does a great job on posting this but heads up if you do have allergies.

For several weeks now, my family that live south of the city have been raving about how good Freddy’s food is and how we have to try it. Finally, we drove south to see what was going on. Well done Freddy’s! When we arrived, all the sitting was full but by the time we placed our order, a booth opened up. The service was great and they quickly wiped down the countertop for us. As for the food, being from the Windy City, I loved that they had cherry Pepsi in the land of Coke. The steak burgers were really good, loved the fries and the funnel cake sundae was awesome! The restrooms were clean as well. We will definitely be back. If I’m going to eat this type of food, it was worth the calories for sure!

I had Freddy’s in Kansas and couldn’t wait to try this one. It’s better than I remember! Steak burgers, super thin and crispy fries and awesome ice cream, what’s not to love? The employees were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it’s so good that there isn’t much seating.

AHHHHHHH-MAZING! Finally, McDonough, GA has an amazing place for burgers and fries. These steak burgers tastes so good, the custard ice-cream is amazing, oh and get this… the restaurant is clean, customer service is friendly, and you get your food fast! The restaurant also offers a 10% off military discount, which is also great! Many places around this area do not offer a military discount unless you’re shopping at the Tanger Outlet. You must try their signature Turtle custard ice-cream. Delish! This place is a must try, hands down!

Very helpful and knowledgeable and awesome customer service and fast service… the food it’s not all that though… they make the patties too thin and the fries are too small and to thin it’s no organization with the condiments they will get it together one of three days… anyway I might try it again for the hotdogs that will be it

«If your reviews are looking like essays, start a blog. I can’t read your life story on my phone before ordering from the menu.» [Time & Date of visit]: Saturday afternoon [Party Size]: 2 [Location/Ambiance]: I’m not sure if it’s hyped up, or there isn’t much choices for a simple lunch around this area that won’t hurt the pockets to feed the family. Whatever the case maybe, this placed was PACKED. Upon entering the lot, most spaces were filled, the drive through lined up from the entrance, and just about every table taken. Whatever they’re doing to get these people in must be working. Line against the wall are booth seating that could fit fairly large groups, it just sucks when there are literally just two people taking a booth. Out in front are about 4 tables. These could have been designed a little better as there isn’t much seating outside when there are packed. Self serve stations are located front and near the fountain machine, adjacent to the food pick up counter. Though the«special fry sauce» is only offered near the back self serve station. The front station has just about everything the rear station has including, plastic utensils, napkins, and ketchup. [Service]: Orders are taken pretty quickly even when lines form. There are two pick up counters, one for food orders in the rear near the water fountain, while a middle one are for desserts and frozen drinks. From the time of ordering, less than 5 – 6 mins pass for the food to come out and be ready for pick up at the other counter. [Food Highlights]: #6 Double steakburger California Style: A little misleading, subconsciously you’re thinking«In-N-Out» style, what else could it be? Well, the burgers are pounded a little flat with portions of the outside crispy and soaked in grease. I’ve been to Cali, and this does not hold up an In-N-Out burger. It’s slightly on par with Steak N Shake, without the long wait times as this is more of a fast food setup. It’s just an ok burger. Would I suggest this over Mcdonalds, yes. Would I suggest this over Steak N Shake, yes if you don’t have the time to wait. Though for this area, I don’t think there are any places that could be in the top 10 burger places that are in or nearby to Atlanta, to give the patrons of this area a taste of what a great cheese burger could taste like. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. Shoe string fries: These are pretty good, just a reminder of Steak N Shake’s though there isn’t any fry seasoning at the tables. The«special fry sauce» is similar to what taste like on the California style burger. It does give it a different taste than just ketchup. I’d say try both. [Total Bill w/Tip & Tax]: 2 #6’s — around $ 18. {Summary}: Pretty good burgers, but nothing special. The crispy but soaked in grease burnt edges might throw off some. Good luck on getting a table on weekends. Faster drive though than Steak N Shake.

As it relates to drive thru burger joints, this one wasn’t bad!!! Fresh ingredients, great seasoning, the wait wasn’t long, but the food was hot… The shoestring fries are a treat, especially if you’re traveling! Make sure you try the turtle sundae, such a treat and it includes whole pecans. Yummy

My husband and I went here for lunch yesterday. It was packed. We walked in to walk right back out. We would have waited for a table, but we had our 6 month old with us so we decided to just go through the drive through and continue on with our shopping. Food is average or below. My husband got a burger and hot dog combo and I got the California style. The hot dog tasted like I could have gotten it anywhere. Drinks were on the smaller side, and no, we didn’t order a small drink either. The burgers were not for me. I found the patties to be a bit salty and i don’t like big slices of onions on my burgers. I felt like the onions over powered everything so i just took it out. The bottom bun was also soggy so it made it difficult to eat in the car. And fries were not for me, but I don’t like shoe string fries. They are just too small to enjoy. But they were crisp and not overly salted. We also got a brownie sundae… For 4.59. Best part of the meal! But who can mess up putting chocolate ice cream on top of a brownie and typing the whole thing off with whip cream and chocolate syrup? Don’t think I’ll return. Maybe for dessert… If even.

This is the closest thing you will find to an In-n-Out Burger in GA. That was the primary reason I wanted to go there. They definitely are trying to mimic them, and I’m not at all upset about it. Tons of burger options. They allow you to be pretty creative with your burger, should you so desire. Wait time is comparable to a Zaxby’s, like many have said, since they make your order fresh. People complain about prices and compare them to Steak and Shake. I really don’t think that’s fair. Sure they both sell burgers, but I think Freddy’s is pushing freshness and quality a little more than Steak n Shake(although I do love Steak n Shake). And let’s be real… Steak n Shake’s fries are the absolute worst. Not at all comparable. I love frozen custard, and it can be hard to come by. Well all got custom concretes, and all were delicious. My one warning to anyone that has not been here before is that seating is limited. When I walked in it was the first thing I noticed. We got lucky and grabbed a table as someone was leaving, but by the end of our meal there were about seven groups waiting for tables. Keep that in mind. Be flexible, and after assessing the situation maybe get ti to go. Will definitely be back.

I finally made it out to Freddys to try their burgers. I was hoping this would be similar to In N Out burger but then again nothing can come close to them(we need one!!). Anyways i went through the drive thru and ordered a double California style burger without tomatoes and a small pepsi. when they told me he total I was like wow this better be a damn good burger! $ 8.43 was the total for a burger and small drink and the small drink was very small. the burger took a little longer to come out and it was piping hot when I received it in the box and it smelled good. I opened he box to make sure no tomatoes and noticed the parties and they were crispy but seemed very floppy but a sturdy burger patty like I’m use too. I also noticed how my bun was already a little soaked/wet from the sauce which would make it hard to eat in the car.(so I would advise to sit there and eat to enjoy) overall burger was good. I was full. taste buds were happy. wallet was a little sad but I would come back again but not often.
