MANAGERS: When will you learn that 2 people cooking is not enough? You have 6 bimbos standing around squaking in the front waiting for the biggest bottleneck ever! Fast food needs more than 1 person doing burgers and 1 doing fried goods. NOT 6 people standing around waiting for the 2 guys to put out orders. No wonder you are 40 years old and still work at sonic! Cause you’re total genius’.

Maybe I just got lucky, but the new ordering screen software might be making an improvement on the back as well. Order was delivered quickly, and the runner was nice. One complaint… the new touch screen is too far away unless you are in a truck. Literally had to hang out my window to touch the pay button.

This is one of the few fast food places I like. I went there today for lunch and got me a #1 with cheese and tots. I like the fact that I can pay with my credit card at my car. Then the lovely lady comes out rolling in her skates with my food. To top it off, she gives me a couple mints. Then I give her a tip. I drive off happy.

Its Sonic… You go for the drinks, shakes and tots… And they NEVER disappoint!!! Breakfast burrito is also money in the bank

Ehhh. This Sonic makes me miss the one I had near my duplex in Lakewood. I like the fact that the service here is quick and they’ve not messed up an order yet, but all the food tastes… blech. It’s not just «oh-that’s-fast-food-blech» it’s more «they-​use-​old-​oil-​and-​pre-​make-​everything-​blech».
Even their drinks are just sloppy and don’t seem to be made with the right combinations of soda water/​syrup/​flavoring.
I agree with the first guy that you could do worse in this aisle of fast food restaurants on University/​380 but I’m hoping the quality of their food at least returns to normal Sonic levels.

It’s a Sonic what can I say?
You can do worse in McKinney but you can certainly do better. However for quick, hot and consistent fast food, Sonic delivers… right to your car door.
