New owners with new pizza. The crust is great. It’s light and crisp, not thin but not too spongey, and different then the other pizzeria places in the area. I believe it is more expensive then other comparable pizzerias, but not enough to make it a deal breaker.

Stopped in for a quick slice when passing by. Your average greasy pizza place. They are a dime a dozen in Long Island. Nothing in particular would bring me back.

My friends and I drove out to Mattituck for some cycling and wine tasting. After a long day of drinking lots of wine, cycling around, petting lots of farm animals, swimming drunkenly in the Sound, we were famished, and went for the only inexpensive food we could find at 8PM, which happened to be Village Pizza. Though we were totally spastic from hunger and made all kinds of totally annoying requests with lots of order-changes, the staff here was unbelievably friendly and accommodating and made us feel extremely welcome. The pizza was tasty — nothing too special — but everything came out quickly and was just what we wanted. They even have curly fries, which hit the spot. When it comes to unassuming pizza joints, what you really want is to be cozy, warm, and sated at the end without dishing out tons of money. At $ 11 a pie this was really a great find and hit all the right spots. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who was looking for a really inexpensive, chilled out grub situation in the area.

i wasn’t expecting much, honestly, but what i had was okay. the exterior — and the interior, for that matter — was pretty bland, but the pizza was flavorful and held its own. not exactly a strong sell, but i would stop back in for a slice if i was driving past.
