History

Established in 2001.

MTB Mechanical is a family owned and operated business that has installed and repaired heating and cooling systems in the greater Charlotte area for more than 30 years. We have managed to earn the loyalty of our customers by providing high-​quality work at reasonable prices.

In June 2003, MTB Mechanical moved into an 18,000-square-foot building on Industrial Drive in Matthews, providing our company with ample space for an office, sheet metal shop and warehouse. Our technicians are trained both in-​house and in classes offered by manufacturers and distributors, which keeps our workers up to date on the latest HVAC technology. MTB Mechanical provides service and installation to families and businesses throughout the greater Charlotte area.

Business Owner

In 1976, Dan Miller recognized a need for better service and professionalism in the heating and air conditioning industry. Certain that he could fill that void, Dan quit his job and went into business for himself, offering top-​notch service in the heating and cooling business to the Charlotte area. Soon he added the full spectrum of HVAC services.

Over the years Dan was been able to hire experienced and professional people who bring invaluable knowledge to the company. The business has flourished with the entire company providing quality service to their customers and over the years developing long term relationships with many of them.

In 2001 Britt and Jennifer Thomas (Dan’s daughter and son-​in-​law) opened MTB Mechanical and talked Dan into coming out of «retirement» to join them in their new venture.
