The Energy Bar of Long Island

Im keeping this simple since my good friend Jimmy Bodmann introduced us to it and i could go on and on about the options and quality. But simply if you have some sort of diet. Organic, vegan or vegetarian etc. But it is delicious! I recommend the greek quinoa bowl with seitan.

Order two wraps and a juice… Food was great! I had the teriyaki and vegetable wrap and my friend tried a different one, but I forget the name. Also, forgot the name of the juice! But enjoyed it all. Highly recommend this place!

This place is right down the block from my house and it’s been open for about 9 months. How I did not know of it is beyond me but I am happy I do now. Located right next to the old Manor East, it is a small storefront with an equally small parking lot. There are two two-​tops inside but they do mostly take out. Service is super friendly.
I ordered the vegetarian buffalo chicken wrap and a simple juice. Both were absolutely amazing. While it is a bit pricey the quality is fantastic. They offer a huge array of organic/​gluten-​free/​health oriented packaged food and drinks. I hope this place does well because they really have nailed the chef driven clean eating fad and they seem to be genuinely good people. While they could do a bit more interior wise (maybe some eye-​catching displays) everything else they have going for them is great. They offer breakfast until 11 am, really excited to stop in for it.

New little organic and energy shop located in Massapequa. I find it hard to come across many decent places in this area of LI that have your health in mind so I was happy to see that this was opening a few months back. I finally made my way here the other morning for a smoothie after the gym and I was delighted! They are a small shop with little heathy treasures, goodies and small takeout meals. I have yet to try the food here but the smoothies are not bad. What is important to me more than anything is the nutritional value rather than the taste and they seem to use good products here.
As they are still new, they have a few kinks to work out and I am sure they will also improve with time. Expect to wait a little while for your order, too.

Just ordered lunch for our office today. Delicious and healthy food. Lovely owner. Wishing her every success. My personal favorite is the zen noodle dish with grilled chicken.

Had a fabulous burrito for lunch yesterday… NOT «fast» food, but for «made just for me» took a very reasonable amount of time even though there were obviously a # of «for the office» multiple lunch bags being picked up as I was ordering.
As a Vegan looking for «take out» that is Healthy this place looks fabulous, but the also have salmon, chicken and tuna for you who are less «enlightened»! I will be going back soon and will post a more extensive review soon!

Great food, great service! A little pricy, but worth it. My girlfriend loves the juices here.

So glad the energy bar opened so close to my office! I have tried every vegetarian option on their menu and I have to say everything is delicious. The staff are all extremely sweet and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Excellent!!! I stopped in on a whim and so glad I did… I am a vegetarian (well pescatarian) and there were SO many options for me to choose from (in addition to traditional options).I ordered the Buffalo Chick’N Wrap (vegetarian option) and it was delicious!!! I can’t wait to go back to try other meals!!! The ladies who were running it (unsure if owners) were very pleasant and sweet to my son who was making quite the ruckus while we waited for our food… Hope it stays open because it is nice to have a healthy option nearby…

This is a great healthy spot that opened up recently. Very good food and excellent prices. Quality of the food is good and shakes are very good too.
They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch.

Had the acai super energy bowl and it was really what I was in the mood for — something packed with fresh ingredients. They made a little too much (not really a complaint?) for the container and had to split it into two containers to account for the spillage. They just need some better to-​go style containers and they are good to go. The offerings on the menu are great, and I can’t wait to come back and try more. Lots of kid friendly snacks and options as well. Happy to have them close to home.

Found a straw in my noodles. Just bought this 20 min ago and there not answering the phone. I hope i get my money back! It was delicious!

I have been super excited to try this place ever since they hung the signs a few months ago… juice bar/​health food restaurants are few & far between in this neck of the woods, so to have one just around the corner had amazing potential, so when i drove past today & saw they were finally open i decided to give it a shot… maybe i should have waited a little longer because they seriously need to get their act together
the girl working the register was nice enough, but had no clue about anything on the menu… i opted for the zen noodle bowl, and since it comes with a choice of protein i asked what my options were — her response was «well you can get tofu or organic meat»…naturally i asked what kind of meat she was referring to & got «well it’s like organic all natural, you know, meat» — asking her to be more specific as in chicken, beef etc was met with a blank stare & a repetition of the claim that i could choose meat, so i asked her to inquire in the kitchen… another woman comes out, and my seemingly innocent question is now met with only mild confusion… i’m told «well we have chicken, we have salmon but don’t get that it’s no good, not sure we might have beef but i don’t know if we have beef»…so essentially my options were chicken or chicken, thus i chose chicken
overall the noodles were ok, chicken was decently seasoned & there was a generous helping of edamame carrots & peanuts in there
also elected to order the ‘iron man’ juice — supposed to be celery/​carrot/​apple/​ginger/​beet, but essentially tasted like celery with a splash of beet for color… cup also wasn’t full, and the fact that it had ice in it makes me wonder just how much juice i really got for the $ 7.50 price tag
would i try again? maybe in a few months after they’ve worked out the bugs because it was clear that the people working weren’t familiar with the menu, and at the steep prices they’re charging i’d like to get a better experience, hopefully in time they’ll figure things out & churn out a better overall product

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place is great! A lot of healthy takeout restaurants claim their food is healthy and delicious, but it’s usually one or the other. This place is both! Delicious juices with both a breakfast and dinner menu which includes all sorts of specials. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a light meal with a great taste!
