This is the place to get pizza or eye-talian in the pequa. Its been HARD to find a place we love, that is close enough to run out to or delivers and this place hits all the marks. They have all these great specialty pies(try the drunken grandma — genius), and a large selection of meals, pastas, salads, appetizers, etc. Everything that we’ve gotten here has been great. They’re friendly on the phone, the delivery guys are always so polite and they’re fast. This is a MUST have when you’re pregnant, want a hot slice of pizza, and your husband is working late.

Just started ordering food from here since I recently moved to Massapequa. I tried 3 other pizzerias and«no bueno«. Ordered twice so far.2 entrees, which were both very good. Hubby ordered the chicken Primavera and I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka with grilled chicken both satisfied, no complaints. Then we ordered a family special they advertised in local paper. 1 baked ziti, 1 reg pie, chick cut parm hero and garlic knots $ 26! Everything was very good. Pizza better then average. Chicken was tender. Etc. We will be ordering from Gregorios from now on…

This is my favorite pizza place by far. I’ve tried many different types of pies from this place and they never disappoint. My favorite is the traditional style with the sauce on top(they also do a version that is made with vodka sauce yum). Price wise they are a little bit more expensive but to me it’s worth it for really good pizza. Delivery is always timely and never cold. I highly recommend giving them a shot.

The Massapequas are saturated with casual pizza restaurants so determining which ones to frequent is challenging. Since I’ve had«slimey» tasting shrimp with that awful mouth feel at my regular Italian takeout place on Park Boulevard(a place which makes many other dishes that I enjoy), I needed to find a new option when I get the jones for a Shrimp Parm Hero. Enter Gregorio’s, a small rectangular space in the little strip shopping center on Merrick Road just west of the St. Rose of Lima RC Church. I went there on Tuesday, 12÷22÷15. The lady answered the phone in a pleasant tone. I ordered my Shrimp Parm, went there and the sandwich arrived in 15 minutes as promised. The shrimp were still hot when I got home. They were also nicely breaded and cooked perfectly. There was a sufficient but not overwhelming amount of melted cheese atop the shrimp. The shrimp were firm and not«slimey» tasting. The tomato sauce atop the cheese was very flavorful, with a deep and rich tomato taste that would make one want to try the pasta at Gregorio’s. The hero bread was fresh and crisp. The Shrimp Parm Hero was delicious and I will certainly return to enjoy it again. It is worth noting that Gregorio’s has some very interesting options that are rarely found elsewhere such as Breakfast Pizza and a Sausage & Broccoli Rabe Hero with Hot Peppers. I’m getting a jones for the latter. Gregorio’s made a very good first impression. I recommend this restaurant for casual Italian.

Just an update to my previous review. The Sicilian pizza here is one of the best i ever had. It is very doughy with a crisp bottom. Most other places the Sicilian is light and airy. At one point I think i stopped liking their regular pizza. To me the crust always seems a bit overcooked. I also think they need to use more semolina or corn meal on the bottom of the pies.

We have been on a quest to find awesome slice pizza out in Long Island. I’m spoiled with all the options working in Manhattan. This place defiantly doesn’t look inviting from the outside right off fast paced merrick Rd. the seating is small tight and not welcoming for a long social stay but for a quick slice it’s easy and fast to pop in grab and go. The crust is great — the sauce on the regular was also much better than I expected — but the Sicilian not as good as the regular. So 3.5 for the pizza but 2.0 for the comfort of the environment — the staff is welcoming. Still hands Saverio’s is the only 4.5 –5 star I’ve located for overall friendly — and pizza taste But they too could improve the seating comfort But Sam and Emilia make up for it with their charm and friendliness. Another try next weekend ;)

Gregorio’s has the most amazing pizza always fresh. Their staff is so accommodating. Their dinners are large portions and prices right. If your near massapequa and looking for a great place for Italian food Gregorio’s is the best.

Great pizza, owner, Gregorio, is great 1st time there took the trouble to ask how we liked it. typical pizzeria feel but great sauce, which is the most important ingredient in Italian cooking. Try his rice balls, spectacular!

I didn’t want to write this review because I am not sure I could do Gregorio’s justice. I moved into the neighborhood a few months ago from Queens and I thought I had to travel back to my hometown or to the city to get local pizza that I truly craved. I was wrong. They are located in a strip mall and have a small location(less than a dozen tables?) but big flavor and bigger service. Their grandma slices have THEBEST dough. I always order the Eggplant Tuscan Pie and it only comes as grandma slices(rectangular pie). Baked eggplant, fresh mozz, and red sauce placed in the right places with the right amount(my stomach cannot handle too much red sauce — acidic), with a drizzle of EVOO. It’s cut into 12 slices and I swear I can eat half. It has the perfect portion of dough and fresh mozz. My healthy conscience is ecstatic about baked(vs fried) eggplant. It is my favorite pie so far. Quick true story: We were eating the eggplant tuscan pie in my dining room when the power went out at 8pm. In complete darkness, I continued to finish my last slice before seriously looking for the flashlight or panicking — I refused to let a power outage and dark creepy surroundings ruin my experience. Their potato and egg personal pizza is sooo flavorful, too. Roasted potatoes that are tender but with a bite, and seasoned eggs in place of sauce. It’s the perfect brunch item on the weekend. The crust in thinner on the personal pies and it tastes better reheated IMO. The regular slice will not disappoint. If they get this right(which they did), then everything else is a bonus. I tried their grilled chicken and broccoli rabe panini and it’s one of the best I’ve had. The chicken is thinly sliced and tasted like it was marinated for days. Perfect grill marks give way to the perfect grilled taste. Broccoli rabe sauteed in garlic and oil(visible chunks of garlic). Even the bread on this sandwich is special :) I didn’t try any of the pasta dishes yet but from what I saw, the pasta dishes come with warm«pizza bread». That’s a nice treat. Their menu includes SOMUCHMORE that I have yet to try. The service in person and on the phone is great. Friendly and fast service. They get busy on certain nights of the week, but they churn out the orders and are nice on the phone despite the rush. When it’s quieter on week nights, the greetings are warm and personal. Takes credit cards and free delivery. The only downside is that i live TOO close to Gregorio’s so my waistline may expand against my will.

Greg is awesome and so is the food by far the best pizza place around anything you order you will like and one of the few places that has a great selection of different pizzas that look fresh and not like they have been sitting for days the only complaint is it’s far from my house but well worth the trip!

I went with my wife for dinner recently to Gregorios pizzeria. We ordered a Wednesday special which was a Sicilian pizza and a two liter of soda for 14.00. The pizza was fantastic with a great sauce and cooked just about right. This pizza reminded me of when I was young and living in Bensonhurst Brooklyn which was the epicenter of great pizza at the time. We then ordered some pinwheels, 2 rice balls and baked ziti Sicilian to go home. The pinwheels and the rice balls were great. In fact the rice ball was among the best I have had in a long time. The baked ziti was excellent but could have more eggplant in it. The restaurant itself is clean but had limited seating maybe for 20 people. Service was excellent friendly and responsive. The price to value ratio is above average for this type of restaurant. This was a excellent experience and I cannot wait o go back to this highly recommended restaurant.

An excellent little Italian eatery. Gregorio’s offers a host of mouth watering entrees and appetizers. The pizza is excellent here though, hard to order anything else. The pies are served hot and fresh out of the oven. A deliciously crispy crust and a tasty sauce. Even though its size lends itself to be more of a take out place, the sit down service is also very good and friendly. Highly recommend!

Finally!!! A pizzeria in massapequa that knows how to make good pizza. We have been going here for a few months now and love their Sicilian. Sauce is amazing, crust is done perfect unlike the competition that makes a Sicilian that comes out like a soggy sponge. So far the only meals we’ve had is linguini with clam sauce and rigatoni ala vodka. Both amazing dishes. Keep it up guys!

I know the owner from back in the day when he worked at another place. He is a great guy who tries to do right by his customers and actually wants to make the customer happy. Food is always great and the prices are right. Give Gregorio’s a shot! You won’t be sorry!

We stopped in just when they opened at 11:00 on Sunday. Everything was hit and fresh! We bought a smorgasburg of specialty slices. The most interesting was the fried potato, cooked red onion, and egg pizza; it was a breakfast pizza of sorts lol. We also had a fresh order of garlic knots which was delicious. Based on this experience, I would recommend any made to order or freshly prepared item.

Finally this pizzeria has really good pizza. This location has changed hands many times over the last decade. The others were not good and I am not surprised they were not successful. We have ordered pizza here several times now and we have found the pizza to be consistently good. Perfect combination of cheese and sauce. The sauce is amazing. I highly recommend their pizza!
