Elite Limo

Oh gosh! We rented this limo service for our friend’s bachelorette party in Napa. I’ve been in my fair share of limos and have never encountered such a grumpy driver before. His name is John. Talk about no personality. We girls hardly needed him to entertain us, but cracking a smile even once would have been nice. We definitely saw a big red flag when he asked us to tip him for the day at our first stop. I don’t think so. All four of us couldn’t stop talking about the fact that he acted like he really hated his job. Not only was he not personable, but he didn’t even do the little things like offer to pop our champagne, or open our wine. At one point we were really thirsty and told him we needed to get some water. He said, oh there is some down there (he pointed to a compartment in the limo). It would have been easy for him to have told us that from the start. It’s hard to believe a company would hire someone who obviously shouldn’t work around people.
It gets worse though. We had nearly reached our 6 hour journey, when my friend text him asking if we could pay for one more hour. He text her back saying yes, but she would need to pay him an additional $ 90 in cash. Skeptical, my friend called Elite to make sure this was okay to do. They agreed it would be fine. My friend paid the 6 hours with her credit card, $ 90 in cash and an extra $ 70 in cash for a tip. When she got her bank statement, it showed he also charged $ 90 on her card as well. She called Elite to dispute the charge. They were very sweet, apologetic and refunded my friend for the $ 90, and said they would clear this up from him. Later the limo driver called my friend saying she only gave him $ 60 in cash, and not $ 160. Truly disappointing.

I didn’t want to post on here but after sending multiple emails to the company and NOT receiving any response I felt this needed to done…
As a fellow business owner I need to share that the experience that my group had on Saturday, April 26^th was beyond disappointing. I want to be up front that I am not asking for, nor expecting any type of refund or future discount, but I must share that my group will be unlikely to use Elite in the future. As business owners you should know why.
1.) Unprofessional and unprepared driver
The driver who was hired to drive for my reservation did not know his way around the area, nor did he seem to have the aptitude to use and follow GPS directions with what we would reasonably expect from a professional driver. It seemed likely that he had never even been to Napa before. We had to give him physical addresses with everything written and spelled out of the wineries we wanted to visit and yet he still missed turns and parking direction signs. He had to pull over a few times in order to type out the address on his cell phone’s GPS. This was a huge inconvenience as we ended up running behind and being late for almost every one of our wine tasting appointments. Needlessly running behind added stress and anxiety to what should have been a fun and relaxing afternoon birthday celebration. It was fortunate that we had an idea of where we are going and to give you an example if we hadn’t of told him to take Mark West Springs Road, he would have gone Calistoga Road which could have been very dangerous.
2.) Pricing expectations
When I booked the reservation I was told there would be two bottles of champagne in the limo (which there wasn’t nor did the driver mention anything about it) and I was also told that I was getting a special weekly rate of $ 85 an hour. I just looked on your website and saw that $ 85 is the standard hourly rate for a 9 passenger limo and the weekly rate (for 4 hours or more) for a 9 passenger limo is $ 70 an hour. I feel somewhat deceived that I was told I was getting «special pricing». I was referred to your company by two separate friends who are both in the wine industry and were there wine tasting with me and feel incredibly embarrassed and are unsure if they will be referring your company to anyone else again in the future. I am disappointed with the whole experience. I grew up in Sonoma County and have been on a handful of wine tasting excursions/​tours and was expecting a much better experience.
Please know that I can count on my hands the number of times in my life that I have taken the time to write a letter such as this but feel that it is important that you know of the poor experience that we had with Elite.

I was invited to my cousins birthday party, and when I pulled up in front of his house, there was a sick looking Expedition limo, standing there waiting for everybody. The limo was awsome! We had brought our own drinks (which we were able to chill in the bar) and the party started right there. We drove from Concord to San Francisco in high gear and I didn’t spill anything. Eddy was an amazing driver! I lived in SF for 7 years, and if you want somebody who knows the city, request Eddy (He’s got a cynical but funny sense of humor). I honestly can’t speak for the other limousines, but this one was really nice. I’m talking about from the seats to the bar to the sound system, clean! I’m thinking about doing a wine tour in Napa, and I’ll definitely be looking in this direction.

The owner has recently contacted me and apologized profusely. I accept his apology for a bad limo and driver experience. While I’m not in the market any time soon for a stretch limo, Ill definitely keep them in mind for future service.
I don’t accept free or discounted services for writing reviews but I will always appreciate sincerity and acknowledgment of bad services. So if you had a bad experience this is a company that appreciates the feedback and the owner will be more than willing to work with you to remedy the situation.

We were looking for a reliable and safe limo service for our daughter’s senior prom. We did not want to just get anyone off the web so we have done some research and get referrals from those whom we know. Elite limo was someone we found but also got a good referral from another limo service who does not have availability on the day we needed.
The whole transaction has been smooth, and the email exchange with Sharon is excellent. She answered all my questions and helped me be assured of my concerns.
Last night on her prom night, the limo showed up ontime, and the driver was super courteous and understood the needs driving 9 teens. His name is Hazeem, and he gave me his mobile in case I needed it.
He took extra time to stopped by in-​and-​out burger on their way back, and dropped off the group in 2 locations. I recommend Hazeem and Elite. I am very picky on customer service, and they definitely met my expectations. My daughter told me that he is extremely nice and good driver!
I don’t normally write review but I feel this is important to let people know about a good limo service.

We used Elite limo for a wine tour and our driver Hazeem rocked along with the office guy named Alex!!! They did an amazing job at taking care of us. Hazeem took us to some of the best wineries in Napa. The limo was clean and service was awesome. We will definitely book again and again with Elite Limo and refer them to Everybody!!! THANK YOU AGAIN ELITE LIMO!!!

Called them in need of town car to… In 45 they were there. Fast, nice car, friendly service. Better than Über.

I recently used their services and it was exceptionally outstanding. We used elite for my birthday and though we had designated location the driver allowed us to make some small detours along the way. My party was a blast and the driver was crazy nice. When ever I need a limo I highly recommend elite, they are the go to people.

Booked with Elite Limo for the second time this past weekend. My friends and I book cars for wine tasting trips fairly often, and Fred was, by far, the most professional driver we have ever had. Warm, considerate, safe, he was great. Excellent communication from the office staff and Fred from start to finish. WIll book with again.

Recently on the road about to enter the new bore of the Caldecott tunnel when one of their drivers came into my lane from the left side driving over the median as lanes had already spilt for the separate tunnels. He honked at Me because he wanted in my lane. Don’t know why he couldn’t go through the other bore since they now both go in same direction. He then proceeded to tail me through the tunnel and honk. Once I move over he gives me a nasty wave… If you know what I mean. Speeds up faster than the flow of traffic and starts again weaving dangerously through traffic IN the tunnel.
DONT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE IN AN ACCIDENT.
If you see a limo whose plates are personalized with ELITE, steer clear or brace for impact. Their drivers are maniacs.

We had a relative visiting California to celebrate completing a lengthy series of radiation treatments for cancer, and wanted to do something special for him. We booked a limo for the day to take us from Cupertino to Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove. Our driver, Michael, arrived 15 minutes early, was very flexible, patient, professional and accommodating. He and the limo company made it very clear many times the day was ours, they were there to make it fun and enjoyable and we could go anywhere we wanted with no rigid schedule. He stopped often to accommodate meals, coffee, snacks, shopping and sight-​seeing. He even stopped a few times so we could get out and take photos of the beautiful scenery. We had booked a six our block but enjoyed it so much we spent nine hours.
The car was a six-​passenger stretch limo that quite easily and comfortably fit four of us. It was clean and well stocked with water, ice, napkins, and champagne. We also brought snacks to eat which some limos do not permit.
I’m sorry to see some bad reviews but our experience today was very positive and I recommend Elite Limos.

I set a trip to lake Tahoe with one of limo service in concord about month ago. in one day before the service this limo company call me to cancel my trip to lake Tahoe due to their 4X4 breakdown was panic how do i have ride to Tahoe because i already paid for resort non refundable. i call couple places but thay didn’t have SUV than i called elite limousine if thay take last minute reservation if they have suv. They took my reservation. they drove me and my family to Tahoe and just yesterday brought me back from Tahoe with nice SUV.
Thanks to elite limo to rescue my family.

Words cannot express the service levels that Elite Limo provides. Truly priceless.
Eddie was professional and very accommodating. From the pickup to the ride throughout Napa and back — Eddie had a great sense of humor — and as you could tell — truly enjoys his job — thereby translating that enthusiasm to the guests he is taking care of.
Ryan and Eddie have been great all along — and in my professional opinion — are part of the elite group of providers that know their business and how to take care of their guests.

I was part of a bachelorette party going wine tasting for the day in the Napa Valley. Eddie was our driver and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. This included little things like providing us an aux cable so we could listen to music on our iPod and big things like calling the wineries we wanted to go to to get us in. In fact, he even called and complained at Domaine when they wouldn’t let us in!
I would definitely use elite limo again and would specially request Eddie!!!

I reserved a limo for SFO pickup of friends.
Driver states he could not find them. I was still charged $ 140.00
Eric, the manager refused to my refund request.

I am updating my review because after the first one, someone from the company offered to try to make it right.
We recently used Elite for an airport transfer. They arrived on time (early actually) and met expectations. The car was in good shape, the a/​c and stereo were all working properly, it was clean and there was cold water bottles available. The driver was kind and helpful.
I would say that Elite made up for my original experience and I would consider giving them another chance in the future.

I have used Elite Limo’s services for many years and the reason I said «many years» is because they have provided great service and customer service and so many occasions for us .
From parties, to my wedding, to my brother’s wedding and countless other family and or business events we have ALWAYS used Elite’s service and I would give them the highest score.
Clean and awesome cars, courteous and punctual drivers and outstanding service and I look forward to using them for our 2012 wine tours and other events that have planned with friends and family.

Super aggressive driving and obnoxious drivers.
Fun is fun, but if the drivers are not safe who cares about the car?
Also, driving aggressively through San Francisco is not cool to the neighbors and others on the road.
Chill out Elite. Not fun to be on board if you are fighting with people outside the limo.

We used the Hummer limo which seats18 and a regular limo for a dinner function. The Hummer was amazing. Very spacious, great air conditioning, bottles of champagne and cool lights inside. They were 15 – 29 mins early and the divers were very professional.
We have also used the Town Car service to the airport and also had great service. Driver was early and professional.
I have used them a few other times (Expidition Limo for a wine tasting tour) and have had a great experience every time! I can’t wait to plan our next Limo excursion.

I used their Executive Car service to go to the airport a few months ago because I couldn’t stand the thought of rush-​hour on BART where sick people are coughing all over you and touching everything…
I was pleasantly surprised by the service, and the driver was very nice and punctual. I didn’t have any trouble with the service — and I recommend bringing cash because they usually prefer that unless you charge a credit card ahead of time when you make the reservation.
