Our large showroom features quality brand names of Shaw, Mohawk, Milliken, Mannington and Congoleum-​assuring our customers of great products at affordable prices. Howmar started as an upholstery business 50 years ago and eventually turned into a carpet store. Howmar is now more than just carpet. We carry a variety of ceramic & porcelain tile, laminate, hardwood, and resilient flooring. We do tile showers and backsplashes. We are a family business that is owner operated… and the owners are your installers! We have your best interests in mind when we are selling you product and during the installation process. We want to give you the best value for your money, so you will be satisfied with your purchase for years. We have a reputation for service and quality installation. Most of our work comes from word of mouth and repeat business. Our clients are more than just a purchaser; they become our friends who send us our next generation of customers. What started as a business in the basement of a resident’s home in Marshallville, Howmar Carpet Inc. is now entering its 51^st year in the floor covering business. Howmar Carpet has evolved. Carpet sales remain strong, but the demand for hard surface flooring has grown as well. Porcelain and ceramic tile, hardwood, vinyl and laminate flooring now comprise a large portion of our business. From its very modest beginning back in 1963, to today’s ever-​changing dynamics, Howmar Carpet in Marshallville has been a consistent force in providing quality floor coverings and service to residential and commercial customers throughout the area.
