Charming Charlie – Marlton

The store itself is great! It seems to have a better selection than other locations that I’ve been to. However, the staff is not at all charming. I visited this store yesterday to do a return and make a purchase. The girl behind the counter was rude, trite and seemed like she was more interested in everything else but taking care of me. I asked her to hold something for me and how long it could be held, to which she rudely responded «only 24 hours!». The other girls working act like people are going to steal everything from the store. They follow you around and stare at you like a crime is about to be committed at any second. Every other location I’ve visited, they have handed me my bag once my transaction was complete and wished me a great day. Not this store! The girl left my bag on her side of the counter so I had to practically break my arm and back to reach it and never said anything to me, not «have a nice day» or «thank you for shopping here», nothing! Needless to say, I didn’t return for the held item and I won’t shop at this location ever again! I’ll drive an extra 20 – 30 mins to another store to be treated with appreciation.

I love accessories and I adore charming Charlie! They have so many reasonably priced accessories and they also have some adorable clothing. For anyone who has never visited a charming Charlie’s, everything is grouped by colors, so your blue jewelry and handbags are in one spot, pink in another, and so on and so forth.
Everything is extremely simple to find because or the color system and it’s all really reasonably priced. The staff at this location wasn’t the friendliest, hence only 4 stars. We were there for about 20 minutes and I don’t think anyone even spoke to us in that amount of time. All in all though I would visit again just because the selection can’t be beat.
