Top Tech automotive did my smog check, oil change and recommended an air filter change. I let them do it. This was last year. I took my late model vehicle, that only had one filter change, to a chevy dealership to try to determine a noise that sounded like an air hose. Top Tech did a really half a## job on my car. They pulled off my air filter without disconnecting the air hose. They changed the filter and then sent me on my way with a ripped air hose (it’s fabric, kind of like the hose to a dryer) and never mentioned it and never even put it back right or at the very least taped it. I was already upset that they never cleared the DIC (the indicator tells how much oil life I had) but now, after seeing this damage, I thought others should be made aware of their incompetence. My advice, drive to Merced for car repairs. We live in a small town, only 2,000 people, and I will post their incompetence at any site I can. It is ridiculous! Such great service after I told them I just moved into town and they knew I would be looking for a good place to take my vehicles. I have three and all of them are getting serviced in Merced.

When you can’t figure something out elsewhere or you need it to pass smog, these guys can fix it.

Took my brand new car in because I was concerned the brake pedal was too mushy: they tried to tell me I could get it done for free at the dealership under the warranty but I didn’t want to wait. They checked it out and reassured me my brake pedal was perfectly normal for a today’s new cars. Didn’t charge me a cent. Nice guys.

As a local person who try’s to keep the money local, this place make’s it hard to do so. I was quoted $ 125.00 to recharge my AC system & have the engine light coded for a grand total of $ 250.00. This was highway robbery. I would pay a back yard mechanic before I take my car back there. I highly recommend you take your hard working dollars some where else. Plus the vehicle isn’t fixed!

Liars and crooks. They tried to way over charge me for parts. Then blatantly lied and blew their cover for the lie. They told me the part would be arrive in a week and when I asked for my car back he magically pulled the part from under the counter.
The worst part was they thought I was stupid enough to believe them.
