As a tourist with potential car trouble about to drive into Yosemite, we came here to have our rental car looked at. When it turned out there was nothing wrong they were nice enough to not charge for their time. Thanks so much, guys!

I have had my vehicle worked on twice by Blackburns, they are reliable, easy to get an appointment with, friendly, and accommodating. They replaced a power steering box the same day and also fixed my air conditioning on the same vehicle last year. My husband has also had them diagnose his vehicle, they are honest and trustworthy which is probably the best quality when looking for an auto mechanic. I would highly recommend them:)

We were driving from Yosemite and our oil light came on. I called as we were passing through mariposa and needed to see if we could get topped off. Nice Lady answered the phone and unfortunately she didn’t have the oil we needed on the shelf. However she asked where we were and gave directions over the phone to napa auto parts we were only a mile away from. That’s great customer service. We were able to get the oil and add it ourselves. I really appreciated the fact that she helped us out even though it didn’t directly benefit their shop. Customer service is hard to find these days, this shop has it! Thank you!

Still a 5 star mechanic. Bob Blackburn’s Mountain Automotive is trustworthy and fair. They’re so knowledgeable and friendly and they’re not just going to rip you off to fill their pocket books. I’m from out of town, too, so it’s not like they knew me or my family or anything. They were honest and straight forward, just because that’s how they roll. Bob is an expert and I trust him from many visits with my POS car over the last year. Today was the last visit for my car, it needs too much work and just isn’t worth the $$ and Bob was forthright about that. Thank you, all, at Bob Blackburn’s, you guys are the best.
