The Cleaning Baron

I got my wedding dress dry-​cleaned here and they did an amazing job! I can’t speak more highly of their work. The bottom of my dress was super dirty from the wedding, and now it looks like new. Highly recommend using them!

Rude rude rude. If you want to pay top dollar to be treated as if your patronage is a bother to them, then this is your place. Went there on a Sunday, which was nice but they weren’t. Vote with your dollar. Send a message to those who hire rude people that it is not tolerated. On top of that they tagged nearly everything with a «cant get stain out». Did they try? I was able to get them out. Not worth it.

Bad customer service so I wouldn’t risk doing business here. Maybe they don’t know about Unilocal.I do see mixed Unilocal reviews for them which just says to me that they are not consistent.

I never thought I’d be the guy complaining about his cleaners on Unilocal but my experience was so bad I felt I should share:
I dropped off fluff n fold and dry cleaning that was supposed to be done on a Monday by 5 pm. I arrived two days later on Wednesday at 7:15 am to find that they hadn’t finished two of the pieces and they had not catalogued the others. It took them 30 minutes to find my pieces and they told me the suit they were finishing would be done for free since they made me late for a meeting. The fluff n gold was also sloppy… Most of my socks were mismatched.
I just went back to give them one more shot and they told me I had an outstanding bill for the suit they said would be comped. Instead of fighting, I just walked out and started an account at Ogdens across the street. Hopefully this is the last time I use Unilocal to discuss my laundry.

I went in yesterday at 7:30 pm, I loved the service, I asked if I could have my Cleaning next day and they said yes of course, I love the fact that they have next day service, when i went to pick my clothes they were perfectly cleaned and pressed.

Cleaning Baron is the best cleaners in town. They take great care of my clothes and on the rare occasion when something does go wrong they quickly make it right. Elsa and Andrea at the front counter are awesome, they smile and greet me by name when I walk in. You can’t beat the Cleaning Baron! Here is a little tip… watch the mail for a coupon that will save you some money on dry cleaning.

I have been going to the Cleaning Baron for over 5 years and I have always had excellent experiences there. Andrea and Elsa are very attentive and always make sure my clothes are cleaned well and the turn around is very quick. i usually bring in clothes every week and I need a 24−48hour turn around and they (Andrea and Elsa) always make sure my clothes are cleaned quickly. While they are fast the clothes look brand new and never had any issues with the service or the quality of service!!!

I brought my handbag which was ruined with lipstick in the interior and other spills, which occurred while traveling. They did a fantastic job and resorted my bag good as new. I have to admit I was impressed– I was ready to throw away my bag. I’m so happy they were able to remove the stains!

I was coming to this cleaners for years but had to stop after multiple damaged articles of clothing. They’re also late sometimes with their predictions of when clothing will be ready

These guys are amazing. I thought my favorite white shirt was ruined. I wore a black jacket on top of a white shirt and it rained. The shirt was stained black — or so I thought. They worked a miracle and made it look like new. I never write reviews but just had to give these guys praise. Thank you !

I was a customer for 10 years. Then they ruined the french cuffs on 2 shirts because they had an incompetent employee (probably some mexican illegal) who ironed them backwards. OK, I understand mistakes happen — as long as you admit it and fix the problem I can deal with it. Instead they made all sorts of excuses. You’re fired.

I walked in to inquire on pricing. There was a lady behind the counter speaking to an older lady, a customer, about her life, presumably, and not about a service or a product. Another lady behind the counter saw me but picked up the phone first to answer a call, which was fine. Two men behind the counter also saw me and did not greet me; I assumed this was because they didn’t have front desk responsibilities.
I expected the lady who picked up a call to attend to me once she was done, but she did not. The other lady continued to carry on her conversation and ignore me. I waited for some time, watching all the parties around me ignore me blithely.
If you want to be treated like a respectable human being, consider a different place. I turned around and walked away.

I thought They lost my $ 300 dollar favorite silk shirt. But it turned out that It was not lost by them. sorry for my previous poor review.
Their alterations guys are nice.

I switched to Baron after my previous cleaners lost TWO blouses and denied it. Baron is not only very organized with dry cleaning and alterations but they do an INCREDIBLE job!
They got out a horrible stain on my favorite sweater, even after I accidentally washed it — so happy! The alterations team is also fantastic. Everyone here is friendly… and simply put, its the best cleaners in Marina del Rey /​Venice and I’ve tried several.

Love the people that work here, the alteration guys and workers are lovely and I would have been giving this place 5 stars up until now. I just found out they charge almost twice the price to dry-​clean a shirt if they recognize the make as designer. The excuse being they they take more care… Really so my shirt by the designer you don’t recognize doesn’t get as much care?
When questioned about it he pointed to my car and said I would pay more for that compared to a normal car… True if they were selling me the shirt and not cleaning it. Actually my car guy charges based on the car size and gives as much care and attention to my car as he does my GF’s beaten up Toyota and the cost… Well the cost is the same!
Fair enough if I am putting in special material items like silk shirts but this wasn’t a 1980’s Versace number with horrendous lions all over it.
5 stars for the staff (who credited me some $ back and apologized) thereby stopping the 1 star I was going to give to the owners for ripping off your loyal customers.

Both of the tailors here are amazing! Their work is absolutely impeccable – the best of the best. They are friendly and do very high level work. I was very surprised to find such excellent work at a dry cleaners, but after I started taking in regular jobs such as getting things hemmed and taken in, I realized how skilled the tailors are. Recently, I brought in two designer dresses that needed complete re-​working, something I would typically take to a seamstress. But I gave it a try and brought these pieces to the Cleaning Baron, and they did a fantastic job making complete structural changes to these items. 5 star service!

This place is the best cleaners in the Marina! They do a great job with my clothes which I drop off weekly. Always good customer service and on time with my orders. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I’ve been coming here for years. They do a constantly good job on my fluff and fold, dry cleaning, and alterations. Plus the people who work here are really warm and friendly. They also have good online coupons all the time, which is definitely a plus, since it adds up. However, all the cleaners in the same area charge the same rates. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because once something got lost in the fluff and fold, so you may want to inventory what you give. However, they did pay to replace it. All in all, a great place and I actually enjoy going there.

I brought a shirt to be dry cleaned. When I got it home, there was a hole burned through the sleeve on the fabric. My husband brought it back and the owner indicated he would have his seamstress look at it. My husband instructed him to call before doing anything. My husband stopped by, and they had replaced both sleeves, despite being told to hold off on doing anything before contacting him. Not only did they replace it, but there was a stain on it and they took the liberty to remove decorative detail on both sleeves. I will never return to this dry cleaners again. They RUINED my shirt. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!!

They do good work but very expensive. They charge upwards of $ 11 to clean a woman’s silk blouse. I will be definitely searching for a new dry cleaner. It’s okay to be reasonable but greedy is another story.
I have had to return items for cleaning that weren’t properly cleaned.
