Dr. Feiz saved my life! My general Doctor told me that if I was going at the rate I was, I only had 2 years to live. I had just gotten married and the thought of leaving my wife scared the heck out of me. I knew that I needed to have something done. Dr. Feiz left nothing unspoken about, he was patient and explained everything that was to come from the day of surgery to my recovery. He put the nerves, both my wife and I were feeling, to rest. Just 6 months after my surgery, I am down 70 lbs! Im excited to start this new chapter of my life lighter and healthier! I would definitely recommend Dr. Feiz!

Dr Feiz and his staffed improved my life by 100%! I have been overweight most of my life and have always been self conscious of my weight. I became very shy and introverted and frankly just unfriendly and unhappy because of how I felt both physically and emotionally.
I met Dr Feiz in 2010 while I was a junior in college in NYC. I weighed 280 pounds and couldn’t keep up with my school schedule catching the NYC subways (it’s very hard walking up and down subway stairs in the heat at almost 300lbs), or walking up and down campus hills without getting winded. I was 19! It shouldn’t be that hard for me to just get places. I found Dr Feiz online and was coming to LA to visit family soon so I decided to stop by for a consultation.
LIFE CHANGING is the best way to explain the day I first met Dr Feiz. Since that November day in 2010 when Dr Feiz installed my lapband my life greatly improved! I immediately started to see the weight melt off of me. I spent the next semester in Europe studying abroad, by time I got back stateside in about 5 months I had went from a size 18 to a 10 (I originally started off a size 22). I maintained that weight and level of happiness for several years until my band slipped.
I had always stayed in touch with Dr. Feiz throughout this time period (seriously, call or text him and he’s there for you). I let him know about my slipped band, by this time I was living in Germany with my husband, but it didn’t matter I wanted my Dr that I’ve always trusted with my weight loss journey to advise me on what my next steps were. I flew to LA and within a week Dr Feiz had me scheduled to remove my band and convert me to a sleeve. He was readily available, answered any and all questions and showed the care a traveling patient like myself needed. I lost 30lbs within the first month after this procedure. I now permanently have the tools inside of me to maintain a healthy weight for the rest of my life. I truly owe so much to Dr Feiz and his staff for my new body and happiness.

I moved to LA about 18 months ago and started seeing Dr. Feiz on commercials. My previous doctor had told me it could take multiple surgeries to have the band removed and converted to a different surgery. After meeting with Dr. Feiz I was immediately put at ease that he had performed Band conversion to Sleeve Gastrectomy many times and was confident that he would be able to do it in one surgery. Of course there are never any guarantees until they are in there.
I scheduled my surgery and have to say I was never stressed at all even the day of surgery about having any issues. Dr. Feiz made me feel like he would take care of me like he would his own sister.
The surgery was completely opposite of my Lapband surgery. I had no complications, and was up walking every two hours as soon as I was out of recovery. I truly had minimal pain thru out the whole experience and only took pain medicine for about 3 days once I got home from the hospital. It was truly an AMAZING Experience!!!
I would highly recommend Dr. Feiz to anyone who was considering bariatric surgery. He is truly a gift from God and worth the drive no matter where you live!!!
