History

Established in 1963.

James Shackelett, DMD started this practice in 1963. Ken Kay, DMD became the new owner in 1998. Christopher M. Anderson, DMD became the sole owner in 2004.

Meet the Business Owner

Chris A.

Business Owner

Dr. Chris is originally from Ohio, but has lived in Marietta since 1984. He attended Sprayberry High School and received his Bachelor of Science at Kennesaw State University.

In May of 1999, Dr. Chris graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He received awards of excellence in Prosthodontics (dentures, partials, and bridgework) and also in Pediatric dentistry.

Doctor Chris has continued his education, including receiving a surgical certification for the placement of dental implants. He is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and a past member of Cherokee Dental Study Club. In recent years Dr. Chris has been attending the prestigious Pankey Institute for advanced dental education.
