At Sigler Guide Service, located in beautiful Marblehead, MA, we offer a range of services for both local and visiting angles, families interested in enjoying some time on the water, or just plain ocean enthusiasts. Guided Striped Bass fishing trips are our forte, but our services include flyfishing lessons, cod fishing and bluefin tuna charters, kids fishing camps and birthday parties, whale watching, lobstering tours, and scenic tours.

In addition to the outstanding fishery, the scenery is spectacular, and there is a wealth of non-​fishing activities, including antiquing, beaches, historic tours and restaurants.

By the way, if you have young children (ages 5 – 16) you simply have to check out our kids programs. Whether for summer charters, a birthday party, or just a special time with mom or dad, something very special happens when you take a kid fishing.

History

Established in 1990.

Having grown up in Marblehead, and fishing the waters of Boston’s North Shore with several old timers, Randy obtained his Coast Guard license, and began guiding in 1990.

Fly fishing has always been a passion for Randy, but fishing with families and kids is just as enjoyable.

With Randy now in his fourth «On the Fly», a 24′ Everglades center console, and with 6 other guides on the team, Sigler Guide Service is one of the largest, and most respected guide services in New England.

Business Owner

Randy Sigler has been fishing the local waters recreationally and commercially for over 30 years. He has taught 8^th grade science in Marblehead, and for the last 22 years he has operated Sigler Guide Service, a saltwater flyfishing guide service in Marblehead. The combination of backgrounds in teaching and fishing, as well as a degree in Natural Resource Studies, create a perfect foundation for running this service.
