Had a few issues before but tried again and order went well due to Tim the delivery driver who throughly checks orders. From 1star to 4 stars for me.

Let’s be honest with ourselves. What would you prefer to have, 6″ or 8″? I don’t know about you, but I’ll take 8″ over 6″ any day. Seriously, there is no comparison between Subway and Jimmy John’s. The 8″ sandwiches at Jimmy John’s are better. My personal favorite is the #9ITALIANNIGHTCLUB. It is real genoa salami, Italian capicola, smoked ham, and provolone cheese all topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and Jimmy John’s homemade Italian vinaigrette. As the menu says, you have to order hot peppers on it. They just add that extra kick to the flavor. As a side I enjoy their Jalapeño Chips. Depending how hungry I am, I can devour the entire sandwich or cut it in half and have lunch the next day. If it is a work day the next day, I almost always cut it in half. The staff is always freaky fast with a side of friendly.

Staff have been particularly friendly at this Jimmy John’s location. I have always been greeted immediately and my sandwichs have been quickly and correctly prepared. I often visit JJ while in Maplewood for a quick meal. Store has always been clean and kept in order.

It had been a long time since I had gone to this location and it’s going to be a long time before I go to this location again. Service was quick because they made my sandwich while I was paying for it, but the people behind the counter seemed a little confused. I suppose that I should not have spoken Spanish or French at them, but that aside, the service was quick. Even in English, they seemed rather confused. I ordered a «Totally Tuna» sandwich($ 5.15). It was tuna salad with lettuce, onions, sliced tomato and Dijon mustard which I was glad and surprised to get; however, the bread was just plain, regular long white bread, not even similar to a French baguette even though I guess that it was a baguette. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. I have had better sub sandwiches from the other sub sandwich shop in the next block over from them, which I think is where I’m going next time I get another sub sandwich for lunch. The radio was on way too loud for me. By the window, there were parents with three very obnoxious and ill-mannered children. I ate as fast as I could to get out of there. I should have taken it, and left to eat in my car, but it’s too late for that.

Okay. It’s a chain… I know. I know… but it’s the best location for that particular chain in St. Louis, I firmly believe. I actually used to live pretty close to this location and now work in close proximity(so a lot of my coworkers order it in) Anyway, funny story? When I lived like 8 blocks(or so) away, if I had friends over we would sometimes place their order online(to have delivered) and I would go run to Jimmy Johns to order mine and see if I could get back home before Jimmy Johns had delivered. I had a perfect track record. Only twice was it really close — where the car was pulling up as I was running up. So maybe not freaky fast, but pretty decent for a chain sandwich shop — and MUCH better than Subway

I work at a nearby computer repair store, so I come here a lot for those quick lunches. The lunch time crew is great. They are always freaky fast, and typically know my order before I place it. They’re all really fun people too, so I’m a big fan and will continue to visit.

Jimmy Johns may be freaky fast, but I was freaky fast too as I plowed threw my Turkey Tom. Turkey, lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and mayo. I added all of their freebies that weren’t already in my subwich; onion, sliced cucumber, Dijon mustard, oil & vinegar, and oregano. It was as freaky good as it was freaky fast. My Dad got their J.J. Gargantuan; Genoa salami, sliced smoked ham, Capicola, roast beef, turkey, provolone, onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato, & Italian dressing on their thick sliced 7 grain bread. It was freakin huge! Even the man who invented the clean plate club had a hard time putting this subwich away… I had to help =) It’s a lot of meat, almost too much for me. I couldn’t really differentiate between which meat was which, there was so much flavor going on. J.J’s is really only good for subwich’s, they don’t have much other than that.

Their sandwiches aren’t all that freaky… but they are good. Really the sandwiches are a bit plain. Plain bread, albeit fresh and good. Simple ingredients… typically lettuce, tomatoes, and meat on each grinder. I think you can dress them up a bit, but I like them just how they come. JJ’s is better than subway, but can’t hold a match to a traditional deli. However, their food comes out fast, and I’ve never had problems here.

First of all let it be noted that this location is now only open until 10. This is a recent development though, which is why I thought nothing of strolling in at 9:45 on friday. I had just gotten off of work and was starving. I ordered my Beach Club and reached into my purse for my… oh shit. I realize I totally forgot my wallet. Not in an «I forgot my wallet(wink wink)» kinda way. I changed purses and forgot to switch the wallet. Pretty scary scenario, especially considering that I apparently had been driving around all day without a license. I give the cashier my completely lame, but true, excuse. He did not think I was full of crap, however, and offered to let me run home and get it. I come back to discover the door is locked. Wtf. That’s when I learn they’re only open til 10 now and it is now close to 10:30. I had planned to eat there and head straight out to meet up with friends afterward, but I felt bad because they were clearly doing closing duties. The awesome cashier once again came to my rescue and told me I could hang as long as they were still there. Jimmy John’s is always a solid bet for food fast, but these guys went above and beyond in accommodating my stupidity. Sucks that they close so early now.

I have been a Jimmy John’s die hard since I was first introduced to the original Jimmy John’s in Charleston, IL back in 1990. I was elated when they began expanding their locations to the STL area… especially those within delivery range. This location used to deliver and had great service. However, my current location on Clayton is not listed. Either way… Jimmy John’s will always be five stars regardless of the location. I would marry the Country Club. Love love love it! Cheap, fast, and delicious. YOURMOMDEFINITELYWANTSYOUTOEATJIMMYJOHN’S!

The Great Chase for the greatest sandwich in the world had to make a stop at Jimmy John’s…don’t worry, I won’t stoop so low as to include Subway in my chase. If you haven’t had a Jimmy John’s by now, you probably have been living under a rock or don’t like sandwiches, so shame on you. If you are feeling frisky, go for the 925 calorie Italian Night Club. A great Italian sandwich for those who like a classic. For a lighter dish, go for the Turkey Tom, but I always add cheese. This particular location is open late, so if you need a late night snack, then the Maplewood spot is perfect. The search continues…

I love Jimmy Johns. Most locations are equally pleasant, the Maplewood store is usually a notch above the rest in friendliness, cleanliness and speed. In the mood for a tasty sandwich you can count on getting fast and fresh? This is the place. You are sure to find something for everyone, they have a nice variety. For me, the thing that makes the meal is their bread, it is fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Deluxe Veggie, it has avocado on it. A well-made sandwich, bag of chips and a soda and you are set!

This Jimmy Johns is AWESOME! I went here with my Aunt to pick up a bunch of sandwiches for my family and they got all of our sandwiches correct, even the ones we special ordered. The owner was awesome and the other guy working behind the counter was also great. Very friendly, fast service. I will definitely go back to this location when I’m back in town.
