The manager complained about a coupon they distribute and even though he was 100% wrong he was so rude about the coupon and his error that I would never eat there again. To lose a long time customer do to your own lousy customer service is ridiculous. There are far too many pizza places to deal with this type of rude service.

We get delivery often and it always really good. I don’t understand the negative reviews at all! The only Pizza that I’d say is better is Lou Malnati’s in Chicago or Pizzeria Luigi’s in San Diego! BTW best burger ever, Hodad’s in Pacific Beach, CA!

My family and I arrived here to eat on a Friday night around 6:00 p.m. They were busy, so there was a 10 minute wait for a table. We eventually got seated around 6:15 and the waiter immediately took our order. We ordered a 6-piece garlic bread and a large thin crust pizza. After 40MINUTES, our bread finally arrived. The wait staff was apologetic and offered some free marinara dipping sauce. We finished the bread quickly since we were famished. We waited another 30MINUTES for the pizza. In between finishing our bread and waiting for the pizza, people at tables all around us received their food despite being sat 20 – 30 minutes after we arrived. I complained about our long wait on 3 different occasions to the wait staff. The bill came and there was not a single penny taken off for our inconvenience. As icing on the cake, they charged us for the marinara sauce! I told the waiter to «talk to the manager to see what could be done for me.» He presented a new bill with the $ 1.99 marinara removed and everything else at full charge. Seriously? When I paid at the register, the owner asked how everything was. I told him the situation and he acted like it was the first time he was hearing it and proceeded to say, «It is Friday night in Maple Grove, you are going to wait anywhere you go.» I don’t care where you go, you do not wait 40 minutes for what is essentially toast and another 30 minutes on top of that for the entrée. He eventually gave me $ 10 off, but the whole experience was unpleasant. No wonder they went out of business in Rogers. AVOID!

Crispy thin house special is the best. Ask for large, eat half and eat on the next day is even better.

Just called for a pizza – inquired about delivery versus takeout– was hung up on. This was the Brooklyn Park location. Will never patronize them again. Had been a return customer. So sad.

The place was very busy but service and food was excellent! Ordered large house special double crust and it’s great. Very fresh ingredients. Would recommend for a quick place to eat. Will be back to try other menu items.

Very disappointing. I ordered the lasagna, which came with a salad. It was honestly the most pathetic«salad» I’ve ever seen. Pale chunks of iceberg lettuce with some croutons on top and the dressing on the side. Being pregnant, it actually made me feel uncomfortable, wondering about how it been prepared so my husband ate it instead. I said to my husband, «I don’t have high expectations for this place based on this salad.» And maybe it’s a good thing I had low expectations or I would have been even more disappointed in the main course. The lasagna was mostly cheese… just chunks of cheese. It hardly had any noodles. No way it was even close to having the 12 layers of noodles the menu advertises. When I was done with it, half the dish it came in was just filled with the leftover cheese. The garlic bread that was on the side was very plain, and the bread was bland. It also had some unappetizing black stuff coating a portion of the bottom of the bread. It wasn’t burnt, but was like it had remnants from other burnt bread on it… yuck. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because the waitress was pretty friendly, and seemed to notice I didn’t like the lasagna and asked about it. I told her it was«okay» and had too much cheese. She said she thought it had too much cheese too, and recommend a couple other things for«next time.» Sorry, but I really doubt there will be a next time…

How is this place still open? I ate pizza here 3 years ago and I guessed it would be shut down by now. Someone must like it based on the reviews… but that could just be owners and friends. I did two tours in Iraq eating 5 year old«Meals ready to eat» MRE’s and I’d pick those nasty things over one of there pizzas anyday.

Had this for takeout last night, 2 kinds of pizza. Lots of cheese and toppings, very tasty! It’s not wood fired fancy pizza, so don’t go in expecting that, but it is seriously good casual pizza:) perfect for movie nights!

My husband kids & I stopped here for dinner while passing through. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger & pinneapple pizzas, thin crust. The service was prompt, friendly, very casual family type atmosphere. Pizza was good, hot, fresh. Generous portions & toppings for the price. Agree that the sauce is a lil sweet but that didn’t really bother us. I also agree that it’s a lil awkward navigating to the restrooms, the way the layout is configured you must pass through part of the kitchen service area where the salad fixings are but they were covered. Not a huge deal. If we lived closer we would go here again. They also offer a few salads, pasta dishes & calzones. .

Ordered a pizza for delivery and it was terrible. They obviously take no pride in the food because it was not cut well and it looked like a mess. I asked for light sauce and that apparently translated to them as no sauce. I called to let them know and they really didn’t care. Very disappointed.

This place reminds me why I need to go to more non-chain pizza joints. My son suggested Little Caesars(GAG!!!) but I found this place near by. I’m glad I did. We got a large double-crust pepperoni and loved it. The sauce was a touch too sweet, but other than that, I have no complaints. Between the two of us we ate all but 3 slices, and those made for an excellent breakfast the next day.

I would have been just as happy, if not happier, if I would have bought a Jack’s pizza from the freezer section and cooked it at home. The pizza was unimpressive all around. The restaurant had the same feel and décor as an insurance agency. To get the to restrooms you have to walk by some of their food — I wonder how many kids have stuck their fingers in it? We will not be visiting again.

I can’t believe the reviews on this place… Good pizza? This place is vile. After the first slice at the buffet, I nearly ran out of this place screaming. There was nothing redeemable about this experience. It’s one of those dumps where everyone seems to know everyone else except for you(and they gave us a look like we didn’t belong there). They were shoveling the most foul pizza down their gullets… it was like a nightmare.

Very good pizza. Nothing fancy in terms of atmosphere, but the pizza was great and the service was too. Would definitely go back. I went there at night, so the pizza was fresh out of the oven.

I came here for lunch one day on my quest to find the best Minnesota pizza. In short, I was very disappointed. I had the pizza buffet lunch, and I assume that was my fatal error. The pie just wasn’t good. Every pizza tasted like it was made the night before and then reheated in an oven before being brought out to the buffet. The dough was dry and the cheese was hard. It tasted OK, for a reheated pizza. But I expect a little more from a place that has people claming it is the best in the entire state. The salad bar was bare bones as well. It seemed fresh enough but the ingredients seemed like the bottom echelon of quality. For all the other great lunch options in the area, I will not try this place again. The serve was very friendly and the price was affordable which makes me think that I might have more luck if I had ordered a fresh pie. You’ve been warned!

Best pizza in Minnesota! Moving to Minnesota from New York was a shocker when we realized the pizza here sucks! After many, many, many disappointing pizza places we found Angeno’s. They have thin crust, double crust, and deep dish. If you are looking for a pie that is close to a NY style hand toss, you want double crust. It isn’t a NYC pie, but it does the job!

My Brother was kind enough to order Pizza last night after we arrived at his home in Maple Grove. The 2 pies(one veggie and the other chicken with mushrooms) were delivered hot, fresh and delicious. The Pizza was thin crust and cut up in «small squares» style that I remember from my youthful days in Iowa. Scott also tells me that Angelo’s is a nice neighbourhood pizza joynt and would definitely be worth a visit the next time I’m in town.
