The class for Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh was super fun! The atmosphere was really chill and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The class did start late for whatever reason and time management by Erik with a K was kind of poor. This resulted in an extremely rushed finish by Erik which I feel had an effect on the outcome of everyone’s painting. There just wasn’t enough time at the end for everyone to be able to put in their full effort into the painting. Will consider other places when the time comes to paint again.

The premier paint and sip establishment in Minnesota. Staff are exceptional and the menu is simple, but delicious.

I had fun and I was surprised how great my painting turned out as I am not very talented. The drinks and snacks were really reasonably priced.
There were several things about that class that really disappointed me. I have never done a paint and sip class and I was really excited to try it. They did not start the class on time so the ending was really rushed and I had to rush through the finishing touches. Also, the teacher was not very helpful. He stood at the front of the room and did a great job explaining what he was doing but he did not go around and offer help. The one time I asked him for help all he said was, «Go with your gut» then walked away. There was another girl there that was walking around to assist as needed but the class was so full, she could not spend very much time offering help or individualized advise. Third, the teacher would explain how to paint a certain item quickly while he was standing right in front of his picture. There was no way for us to see what he was doing. He would quickly move on to the next item to paint so you couldn’t take the time to wait for him to move away from the painting to see what it was he was trying to explain.
I did have fun painting with my friend so I will be trying this again, I will just go to a different painting place.

This place is so fun! I came here with a birthday party and it was a blast! The paint, aprons, and canvas is included in the price and you take your lovely art home with you at the end. The instructors guide the class and give pointers on everything from brush techniques to color mixing, but you’re encouraged to give your masterpiece your own creative spin. The instructor we had was funny and joked around with us, so it broke the ice and we had fun with it. They serve beer and wine, so if you’re into that, it can also help to hone your creativity. I will come here again!

I love this concept and I had a blast! I’m in agreement, haven’t had this fun in a class in a long time! The teachers really enjoy their job, and you can tell. Loved it!

Very fun group activity.

My children love this place! We have held two birthday parties here — one each for my son and daughter. It was a great time, and the kids get to take home their paintings which they really enjoy! It is also a blast for adults — very relaxing as they have a great selection of beer and wine. I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy it as I’m not much of an artist, but the instruction makes it easy!

Awesome experience! Didn’t know we would be getting a comedy show all at the same time– enjoyed every minute of it! Really great staff– super attentive and entertaining even with 45+ people who might’ve had a few glasses of wine, lol! Two thumbs up– would definetely go back!

I haven’t had this much fun in a classroom setting since Kindergarten!
Been here TWICE now… so I’m a regular … first with a group from work, when we painted our famous Minneapolis spoon with cherry fountain/​sculpture icon on canvas.
Our instructor, Laura, was enthusiastic, sweet, and very accommodating all while instructing us non-​artists to learn how to mix colors and paint so that we can actually have a good painting to take home.
The second class I went to was on my own, was taught by Sam which was good as well. Sam had a different style from Laura, she was more laid back and had a quiet sarcastic sense of humor. Like Laura, very accommodating and walked around and gave us pointers, suggestions and feedback. In this class we painted the famous Stone Arch bridge in downtown.
We all start out to follow the instructor at first, but of course, at some point in class everyone took some liberties to express their natural artistic inclinations. Some people were incredible (one attendee added fireworks to her Stone Arch bridge painting, which was breathtaking!) and others were mediocre at best. Some people were overjoyed with their masterpiece and others weren’t happy with their outcome, but… we were all there to have a good time and that’s the purpose and the best part!
I love the concept enjoying food and beverages while you paint, too. Very relaxing, and get ready to have fun. It’s also nice that the paints, paint brushes, canvas, apron, and other necessary supplies are all provided for, too.
Also, it’s follow the steps of the teacher… so how can you not go wrong?
They also have classes for kids, too… I hear that the kids have a fantastic time as well.
