Threads Dry Cleaning

Do not use Them! Missing clothes never came back to me. Manager never responded about the issue. Never got the refund for the missing items. They are more expensive than it has to be, comparing to other stores. The bottom line, they lie, they do not care, they are irresponsible. AVOID THIS PLACE! Oh and they do not tell you something is missing. I have always found out myself. Always check is something is missing if you absolutely have to use them. Liars is what they are. But the best solution is, do not ever use them !

I have been going here for the last year and I spend a lot of money every month on my dry cleaning. Today I went to put on my pants for work and noticed my button was just dangling by a thread, I just bought these pants the month before and had only wore them 1 time and just picked them up from the dry cleaners a few days prior. This is the second pair of pants that this has happened to at Threads! The first time they convinced me that the pants were already weak and the button was already coming loose, this time I the area was completely ripped and the pants were basically new so I knew it was accident. When I brought them up there the lady working apologized, went to the back and when she came out she said they could repair them… wonderful, I wasn’t looking to have them buy me a new pair, even though they ripped them, however the next words out of her mouth was, «that will be $ 5»? I said excuse me, why am I paying for something that you guys damaged? We didn’t damage it she said, it was already like that when you brought it in she said. So $ 5 is nothing but I’m not paying anything for something that I didn’t cause! The manager, William, came out and asked how he could help, I explained the entire thing again and he said yes we can help but it will be $ 5. I spend around $ 150/​month here and you want to charge me $ 5 for something you caused? His response was simply, we didn’t cause this, it must have already been damaged… Bottom line is I will never return and the sad thing is the owner comes to my place of business and recommend his. I even keep some of their business cards here, but those are going in the trash now! Thanks Threads, you really know how to treat your loyal customers!

Good work but expensive. Had a bridesmaid dress pressed and it cost over $ 16.00 with tax. It is nice that they offer free drinks because the dress wasn’t ready when promised. They were just «about to do the pressing» so I «enjoyed» a coffee while I waited for 10 minutes for them to do the work. They also could not find the original hangar when I asked for it.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! I was with them for over 2 years and I noticed that every few months 1 or 2 pieces of clothes would disappear when I left my dry cleaning … Ironically, it was always the nicest pieces of clothing and only mine, not anybody else’s. I called and called and went by and emailed and was promised over and over u would be reimbursed for my «lost» clothing but no one ever did anything to help and the owners never called. They cost me about 500 dollars and clothing and won’t go back. I expect to see one of their workers walking around with one of my shirts or slacks… DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I was excited for this dry cleaner to open, seeing that I live not too terribly far from here. I’ve never had a problem with it until now, and if I had the ability to give it 0 stars, I would.
I dropped off a good portion of my bedding (read: expensive bedding that’s dry clean only) and it was gone for a little over a week. That’s not the problem, seeing that it’s apparently quite the process. When I went to go pick up the bedding, nothing was said to me. Handed it to me, paid, not a problem. I get home and start to make my bed and I notice that it’s very lumpy; lumpier than usual. Even the shams were a bit lumpy. I thought, «hmm, weird, maybe it’s been sitting for too long,» and tried my hardest to flatten out. Unfortunately, whomever was in charge of the washing process felt that it was absolutely necessary to stick dry clean only bedding in a washer machine and load it with fabric softener. If I had a desire to ruin my own bedding, I could have saved $ 60 and stuck the set in the washer machine at my house and loaded it with fabric softener. When I went back to complain, they took the bedding back, refunded the $ 60 back to me, and told me the manager, or owner, would call the next day with a plan of what to do about the bedding that THEY ruined. No phone call yet despite this happening almost a week ago.
Over a million words in the English language, and I can’t think of an appropriate word to describe how genuinely angry I am. I have had to borrow bedding for the past two weeks, bedding that I am allergic to but have to use because that’s all anyone in my house has. But the thing that has me absolutely fuming isn’t that they ruined a bedding set that was a gift to me. It’s not the fact that they managed to ruin a little over $ 500 worth of bedding. It’s not that they managed to forget a fine skill, such as reading the tag that was very much intact that read «DRY CLEAN ONLY». It’s not the manager/​owner not calling to tell me how they’re going to reimburse me for the bedding, causing me to have to waste MY time by going up there and chance not being able to talk to them in person about them absolutely trashing my bedding. It’s the fact that whomever was in charge of the washing process felt the need to dump a full bottle of fabric softener in the machine, fabric softener that I was severely allergic to.
I understand that reading, thinking about other people, and running a profitable business is difficult to do at the same time, but do try to keep these in mind. Severely breaking out because of a chemical or not being able to properly breathe when you’re trying to sleep is not fun. After what happened to my bedding, I would gladly drive an hour out of my way to have anything of mine dry cleaned instead of driving less than a minute.

This place is awful. I have used it 3 times. The 2^nd time money came up missing right after I reported it missing. The 3^rd time I went to pick up my shirts for my son’s trip the next day, and all they had was my drop off bag. The sad thing is, they didn’t understand why that was a problem at first until I had to explain to them that my 5 shirts were missing. They took my into the back along with another gentleman who had clothes they lost and we reviewed every bit of clothing they had back there to no avail. Stay away unless you enjoy frustration and disappointment. Now I’m scrambling to find 5 shirts for my son before his 630am flight.

The manager was working the drive thru on my 1^st pick up. Took way too long to get my clothes but I didn’t complain. Had a visa gift card and asked her if I could use it, she said sure. Told her it had about $ 33(amounts not exact) left on it (gift card) and to run my debit for the remaining $ 1 that I owed. She claimed she couldn’t get my debit to run and said that I would just owe the $ 1 next time. Asked if I wanted my visa gift card back and I said no since I assumed she used the remaining balance since she told me I only owed $ 1. Got home later that day and noticed that my debit was run for $ 33. Called the manager told her to look for my gift card because she ran my debit and it did work unlike what she told me before. She said she didn’t have it and would refund my $$$ since it was still just pending at my bank. A few days later it went thru at the bank and I was never refunded my $$. Called again, she claimed she couldn’t refund my money but would give me a store credit of the $ 33, plus the $ 1. So, I assumed she was trying to make things right but honestly had a bad feeling about it.
Even though I had a bad feeling about this I went ahead and dropped off my second load with them. Again, manager was working the window. Went to pick it up today and the amount I owed was way more than I thought it should be with a $ 34 store credit. I asked the employee who was working if the credit had been applied, she said yes. I paid and then I asked for an individualized receipt to see the cost of each piece. Everything looked way more than I thought it should be. I then asked the employee if I could have a price list of what they normally charge. As she was handing me their price list she told me «the manager invoiced my order and she raises prices to SOME customers». And she was saying it as to warn me that the prices I was charged were not going to match what they normally charge. I honestly had not planned on returning after my first order because I just felt like something was just weird about this manager, but went ahead and gave it a try because I wanted the store credit. I can’t believe her own employee told me what she does to SOME customers. This is the 1^st review I have ever written but felt it was necessary. What a terrible way to treat a customer. I will never return.

Lots of these places around and I was ecstatic when they were opening. I see here that there are some that have had nice experiences and that’s great for each of you. For those of you who care about your stuff (and that includes your money), and for those of you who care about whether a local businessman keeps his word about his business… I suggest that you consider the bigger picture.
All I ever want is to be treated fairly and have a quality service delivered in exchange for a fair price. NOT the PLACE. They hire kiddos from school and that’s great.
I must admit, I tend to be picky about my clothes. I buy nice clothes and I want them handled well. I applaud the cleaners «appearing» to be environmentally sensitive, and assuming that is true, I think that deserves a pat on the back. On the other hand, if you are looking for fair for fair (and, for the record — leave out all of the weird extra space in this new building, leave out the coke machine and the televisions and keep the price of the product where it belongs. American Airlines could work out of this building (joke)…I kept thinking that with the televisions that they may uncover some extra space to add a sports bar.
Just wanted a cleaners… not a Trump plaza that drives my prices and those of all of my family higher than they need to be.

They do great work at a fair price. Total trust in their work. They have a drop off service. They personalize frequent users with garment bags. They are fast in delivery. No need to go elsewhere!

Rip off. Won’t be back. Was quoted one price at drop off. $ 20 more added at time of pick up. They charged me for 22 items — dropped off 29. People cant count. Price was high as I was told this was luxury dry cleaning. Not sure what luxury dry cleaning is all about as I can’t tell the difference between here and discount dry cleaning. Price paid was more than 2 – 3 times other places charge for like service. Clothes stink as well. I consider this a 6 month business. That’s how long it typically takes before they close down and start over again. Oh yeah… They give you a discount card for 10% off. Helps minimize what they rip you off. Never again. Beware!
