Specialties
Japanese Karate for Kids and Adults. Taught in the traditional style similar to Kyokushin Karate. Ages 3 to 93. Beginners to the martial arts are more then welcome. All fees are month to month, you will never be asked to sign a contract!
History
Established in 2005.
Originally opened on the Upper West Side in 1985 by Shuseki-Shihan William Oliver. After Shihan Oliver’s passing in 2004, Sensei Matthew Fremon, one of his highest ranking students and asst. instructors was asked to continue the dojo. After 3 years of steady growth, he and Sensei Jennifer opened the Columbus ave. dojo in 2008.
