I am an owner-​operated business with over 24 years of experience cleaning and protecting fine and delicate upholstery fabrics, oriental and antique rugs, wall to wall carpets and draperies.

My specialties include stain removal of pet urine, blood, red wine, coffee, cosmetics and other difficult stains from all fibers including silk, linen, wool, etc.

I also offer Seal-​Tex Lifetime Stain Protection — a treatment for new or existing fabrics and rugs. Seal-​Tex is NOT water-​based so it is completely safe and undetectable for ALL fabrics and rugs and can be applied right in your home.

In addition to carpet and furniture cleaning and Seal-​Tex Stain Protection I also offer wood floor polishing and limited dustless refinishing (re-​polyurethane)

History

Established in 1990.

I started the business of cleaning carpets and upholstery in 1990 with the idea of eventually sitting behind a desk while my workers did the cleaning. But there are many reasons that 24 years later I am the man doing it all.

I learned quickly that my clients want to know ‘the owner’ is on the job. It gives them a level of trust and comfort that would not be possible if I sent workers. My clients like to know they can shoot me a text at 2:00AM if they spill red wine on the sofa and I will be there the next morning, shoe covers on, bringing my two plus decades of cleaning experience with me to remove the stain. My clients also like to know they can leave me the keys to their beautiful apartment if they can’t be home and I will not lose the family cat.

After 24 years and thousands of wonderful clients (many have been with me since the first years), I enjoy a relationship with my clients that few, if any, of my competitors can match.

Grew up in Washington Heights to Italian mother and Greek father. Attended Brooklyn Technical High School and then City College majoring in Electrical Engineering but left before graduating to work full-​time.

Now lives in Astoria with two amazing kids and a very cool cat.
