We are apartment hunting and the Corinthians Streeteasy listings are fraudulent — used to attract people but the apartments aren’t actually available. Not sure if that is even ok? The building charges a lot of move in and move out fees and the application fees are also very high. That is why I don’t think I will be moving in here.

I feel so fortunate to have found the Corinthian after an exhausting search for a NYC apartment. We obtained a «B» apartment which has spectacular views of Lower Manhattan, Empire State, and East River offered to us by a 7 panel bay-style window. I loved the Murray Hill neighborhood. Our temp corp apartment was just a few blocks away and we were given one month to find an apartment on our own. My search ended when I viewed this apartment. It filled all my requirements and then some and was even under our budget. I was certain I would have to compromise something on the«must have» list. I compromised nothing moving here. Amazingly, we hear no noise from other apartments other than from the ones being renovated and that is quite minimal. There is some noise from the QMT, but that is only for rush hour. The building is well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. Due to the renovation of the pool/gym, our membership was thrown in as part of our rent and it will be completed here shortly. This apartment did have a two year lease requirement, but that was just another plus for us. I live here with pride and thankful I found this gem.

Great place to live! My boyfriend and I signed a 2 year lease 8 months ago… best decision we could have made. Our one bedroom is much larger than the others we looked at in the area. Natural light pours into the living room and fades into a breathtaking cityscape of the Chrysler Building and Long Island/East River by night. The building is very well maintained, service requests are addressed and serviced within 24 hours. The doormen know most residents by name. There is an overall sense of professionalism amongst the staff; as a tenant, it isn’t possible to wish for more. I would always recommend living here to friends who are looking for quiet neighbors: Our building is mostly young families and older couples mixed in with a few young professionals. It’s far from pretentious but also not a frat house. With all of the horror stories linked to NYC apartments, we feel so lucky to have found the Corinthian. :)

Although the building is aging it is well maintained. This is a quiet location and the view here is all around amazing. There is the view of the East River right in front and on the other side is the view of skyscrapers and Empire State Building. Very refreshing!
