That Picnic Place is New York City’s only year round all-​inclusive picnic basket delivery service. Contact us at least 24 hours in advance (same day orders can be made available upon request, but are not guaranteed) and we will come to your location indoor or outdoor and create an enjoyable picnic experience for you. Whether it’s a Sunday in the park with the family or a romantic indoor picnic with your special someone you can count on us. Each authentic picnic basket includes: food, beverages, a recreational item (playing cards, hacky sack, etc.), and a picnic blanket. All items are yours to KEEP and re-​use for future picnics. We deliver to parks, hotels, homes, and businesses throughout New York City.

We offer the following picnic basket types: Single Guy/​Gal, Premade Picnic for 2, Family & Friends for 4, Lil’ Romance, Ultimate Romance, and Build Your Own. Also available are: corporate picnics, wedding reception packages, gift certficates, and souvenir t-​shirts

History

Established in 2008.

Started by two high school friends in 2008. They both enjoyed picnics, but didn’t enjoy all the work that went into it. They were convinced that they were not alone in that feeling. And from that came the idea to start a business that did everything for you with no work or sweat on your part. They started off with just delivering 1 picnic basket a month until word spread and now they have to turn people down because they are sold out on most days. Their business and picnic items have appeared on several blogs, in the wall street journal, on the PIX11 Morning News, Food (ography) on the Cooking Channel, in ELLE magazine, and several places that they find out about randomly each day. They specialize in picnics of all sizes, no picnic is too big or too small, and they pride themselves on making the entire experience as enjoyable, unique, & easy as possible. They are the only all-​inclusive picnic basket delivery service, literally providing you with everything you need to have a picnic.
