Taskmaster is an AMAZING service. I’ve had a variety of their handymen come to my apartment in Harlem and help with everything from mounting TV’s to hanging ceramic deer head’s on a wall — and every time they exceeded my expectations!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I wish they had a division in LA and I’d hire them always!

After dealing with a previous unprofessional prospective contractor for the installation of our dishwasher, we were fortunate to have found Gaudhi, who did an excellent job for us and spent the extra time and energy to ensure that everything was perfect with our custom job. He’s the kind of guy that cares about his clients and builds a great rapport while staying focused on the task at hand.

Unfortunately, I was unable to use their services. We set up a date and time to do some work in my home and prior to the date I wrote to confirm logistics. Was not available to do the work on the date/​time we discussed and I received no call or email telling me this.
Communication is key nowadays and there is no reason not to stay in touch with potential clients. I can’t in all good faith work with a company who cancels without notifying me. Had I not reached out to confirm, I would have been left home just wondering what happened.

I needed some last minute grouting work in the bathroom done and Pamela came to do the work. She did an excellent job and had great attention to detail. I commend her work ethic, she worked solidly until the work was completed without taking a break. Incredible stamina. I would highly recommend her and would definitely use her again.

I got a free loft (not bed a full 2nd level) that had previously been installed in another apartment, I called Guadhi and he put it up using only the photos that the previous owner had supplied. I will post photos at some time. He is now making a second level (tree house to my son) for my son compleate with ladder, a rope style railing and shelves. Every one (10 people) says that it’s amazing and excellent workmanship. Gaudhi is meticulous about his work he is an artist.

Ithalmar did an awesome job installing several bathroom fixtures, including shelving and a medicine cabinet. He had to drill through the hardest tile I’ve ever seen and was very patient and persistent until the job was done. I highly recommend the Taskmasters!

Contacted Doug regarding assembling my ikea furniture. I had 4 large pieces built but the price was still extremely affordable, under $ 200. Doug also helped me move some things around for no extra cost. Great service, highly recommend.

Ithalmar came through in the clutch! He’s not just handy– he’s a pleasure to have around. He came early last Saturday and hung up a huge shelving unit, and put together a ceiling fan and installed it quickly. His price is fair and skill set is a 10. Anytime I need handy work again I’m definitely calling Taskmaster.

I couldn’t be happier. Very professional, patient, punctual and thorough. Gaudhi came prepared with all tools and equipment. Didn’t make a mess and installed curtain rods and shelves very neatly. I had to leave for a little over an hour and felt completely secure. Of course all was well when I returned, and alot of progress was made.

I was in need of a handyman since we moved into a new apartment two weeks ago and there were a bunch of things that needed to be fixed or replaced.
my husband and I aren’t very handy so I looked on Unilocal and got to Taskmaster and saw all the great reviews (and the funny video on their website!)
I’ve sent them a list of everything that needed to be done and asked for prices. I sent the same email to other companies, just in case.
Taskmaster ended up the only ones available and serious. They sent me the prices for everything and had a date available for the same week. Yay!
We set everything up via email.
Carlos was really nice and friendly. He was right on time, with all the equipment ready to install 2 window ACs, 2 blinds, replace a shower head, lock, and a couple of bits and pieces including an immposible to remove toilet seat screw!
Everything was done professionally!
I already have ideas of more things I want to fix and I know who to call :)

Ithalmar and his brother Gaudi are both extremely professional, skilled, capable, fast, reliable, friendly and helpful! They can pretty much fix anything you need and are also very well priced! I have renovated many apartments over the past 6 years and never before have i encountered such wonderful, professional and reliable service.
They already helped me with 3 jobs, one was repairing non-​working electrical power outlets and dishwashers, the other was responding to a smashed window emergency and installing and insulating a new window within only 3 hours that i had left to handle this disaster and the other is for coming on a short notice this morning on a sunday at 7am to repair a water leak that was affected by frozen and cracked water pipes due to this cold.
Truly exceptional team here! My safe guess is that sooner than later they will become very successful so I am hoping to be able to work with them before they get booked out entirely as they are already busy with jobs.

10 stars!!! Ithalmar will not rest until the job is done and done to the highest aesthetic standards. He is very knowledgeable about all things «handy» and if he doesn’t have what he needs, he will either go out and get it or figure out a way to make it.

I originally met Ithalmar to help install shelves in my bathroom. He was extremely knowledgeable about bathroom-​specific installations including how condensation and heat affect what’s hung on the walls. He did an amazing job; I’m pretty sure I could do pull-​ups on those shelves.
I had Ithalmar come back to install shelves in the kitchen and mount 2 TVs. His attention to detail is amazing. The shelves were perfectly aligned vertically and horizontally. The TVs look amazing.
Ithalmar is quick, professional, friendly and looks out for your best interest. I will definitely hire him again to help with more work around my apartment.
