We are a mobile pet grooming salon. Mobile grooming is less stressful for pet, and owner and more convenient. More personal you get to know your groomer, your pet is not passed around to other groomers. We get to know your pets personally and learn what is or is not normal for them making it easy for us to determine if something may be wrong with them. One-​on-​one grooming (pets groomer’s utmost attention we don’t even answer phones during grooming). Closer to pets home (usually park within a 5 block radius). Pet is done in about an hour in most cases. (Depends on breed, size, condition of coat, type of haircut desired, and if pet has any special medical conditions) Pet can be done while you are away at work (pre-​arrangements must be made). Grooming doesn’t have to be an ALL day event, let us come pamper your pet. We also groom cats.

Meet the Business Owner

Amanda S.

Business Owner

Amanda is a pet stylist with eight years of experience and is the founder of Shadows Pet Services. She started in the grooming industry as an assistant pet stylist for a corporate pet store at the same time working on her degree at Fashion Institute of Technology for photography. After receiving her degree in photography she decided to stay working with the animals she loves. She went on to grooming school were she became a certified pet stylist. After a few more years she went back to continue her training and became a certified cat stylist. In 2013 she became a member of the National Cat Groomers Institute of America. She has certification of completion of Salon Safety Course. Amanda has her own pet Cocker Spaniel named Shadow since 2001 and has been his groomer for all his life. Grooming her customers’ dog some that have been with her over five years, has given her the courage to open her own company which she has named after her own beloved pet.
