These people rock:) They are efficient, flexible, knowledgeable and so nice. I’d trust them with my puppy anytime. We use their services very regularly and kudos to all of them! Helen, Genevieve and crew! Thanks so much.

We started with the doggie day care on a special, and then switched to daily walks when we decided to hold of neutering the pup, and then double daily walks when we got injuries and our dog needed to get out more than we could do. It’s been about four months of B&B all together. The people who work in doggie day care and the walkers are super. The pup really has a good time with them, and they all seems to be really kind and nice, to him and us. For the most part we have regular walkers, no big turnover. However, when our schedule started it was kind of bumpy with walkers and timing. Also communications within B&B can be iffy — walkers showing up when you’ve cancelled on the phone, etc., and getting the schedule down pat (my fault too). But overall, B&B is extremely accommodating, like coming back if I was out with the pup when they first came by to walk him. It’s pricey, but I’ve been happy with the services, especially during the awful winter weather, where walkers came no matter the conditions, and if they were running late, I got a call. So thanks B&B for making the cooped up winter in an apartment with a crazy Jack Russell easier.

We had a solid experience getting our dog groomed here. He’s a Cavalier, and they charged $ 82.50 plus tax (seems ridiculous but I think this is the going rate in NYC). He also received a complimentary «trial» day of day care. I think the groom is excellent, one of the best he’s had. They followed directions perfectly, and they called the next day to follow-​up. It’s hard to have a strong view on the day care, but, when I picked him up, I noticed there were a lot of dogs of all sizes in there with him… and unfortunately a much larger dog was humping him while the attendant had her back turned — he looked mortified. These things happen. The web site is very useful, and I like that they post pics online later in the day. At this point, we’re going to stick with a dog walker. I would give 3.5 stars if I could, but I also need more experiences to have a firm conclusion.

My little chihuahua goes there once a week & seems to love it. The staff is always pleasant to me & my puppy seems happy.

I am responding to the comments of Biscuits & Bath regarding our horrendous recent grooming experience. Unfortunately, nothing that was said actually addresses any of our concerns, and just blames the victim.
Fact: Come on, it doesn’t take eight hours to groom two dogs. That’s particularly true when you choose to simply cut all of their hair off rather than actually try to comb out the mats. Note that there was not even an acknowledgment that perhaps they overbooked and that no one was consistently working on our dogs for 8 hours. Absurd, bordering on cruel. They obviously spent a lot more time in a crate at B&B waiting to be groomed than they did actually getting groomed.
Fact: The dogs were matted. We accept that, and we even accept that a groomer could feel that getting the mats out might be too difficult for the dogs, and our request to only have two inches taken off was unrealistic. But before unilaterally deciding that you are unable to comply with our request, a phone call is in order. B&B had all of our contact information and could have easily reached out. Instead, they made the decision on their own without even the courtesy of consulting with us first. If they had indicated that both dogs would have ended up so radically different than the instructions that were given, we may have chosen not to have the grooming done at B&B – some groomers are better at or more patient dealing with mats than others. But at least it would have been our choice.
Fact: We were never given a «handbook» related to B&B’s drop-​off policies. We have never heard of a policy that would require the delivery person to place two dogs in one crate that is clearly not designed for two dogs, and leave them there for hours. Of course, had the grooming not taken 8 HOURS, our dog walkers would have been able to pick them up as planned. But somehow this is our fault.
Fortunately, we won’t be needing a handbook for future reference. We will take our business to one of the many other groomers in the neighborhood.

My experience with the TriBeCa location of Biscuits and Bath has been great. The management and staff at the location is amazing. Tylar, Helen, and Lauren are attentive, positive, and helpful. The crew that works behind the front desk is also great. I’m basing this review in comparison to other dog care services that I have tried in the area including: dog walking service (private company,) the Wagging Tail, and Spot.
Here’s what I appreciate about Biscuits and Bath:
1. The people!!! They like dogs and you can tell by how they interact with the doggies. They are also good with people. You never get a ‘tude from these ladies. They are super friendly!
2. The cleanliness of the place– I am a neat freak and I appreciate their focus on cleanliness. The center never smells and is well lit.
3. They separate big dogs from the little guys (I have. 10lb shih mix so this is important to me)
4. They offer grooming services and training services while your dog is at daycare. This is a great feature for busy professionals.
5. Website– you can check your account online. (This is not the cheapest alternative in the neighborhood, but you get what you pay for.)
6. Follow-​up– they call periodically to solicit feedback and to see how things are going. NONE of the other services that I’ve tried ever bothered to ask about my dog and how he was adjusting.
7. My dog is a white fluffy little guy and I am very particular about his coat being clean and free of dirt/​debris. The team at BnB tries their best to make sure that when I pick him up, he’s been wiped down. I’ve never had an issue with him coming home filthy (which happened OFTEN at the other doggie daycares that I have tried.)
Most importantly, when I pick up my dog each day, he is happy to see me, but also sad that playtime with his buddies has come to an end. By the time we get home he is well exercised, played out, pooped out, and all around happy.

I purchased the Unilocal deal and went to B&B an brought in my Shih-​poo, Sparky, on a Tuesday before work to have him groomed and a full day of day-​care. The staff was extra sweet and genuinely seemed to care about all the dogs there, knowing every single pups name and owner. My dog was extremely shy and scare but he quickly warmed up to the staff and when i went to visit him he didn’t even notice i was there! He enjoyed running round with the other dogs (supervised by an employee inside the play area with a mop in hand). When i picked him up after the grooming his hair was a little on the short side but i grew to love the cut. He nails were perfectly trimmed and he was exhausted, i mean asleep the entire train ride home (he loves looking around and staying up and alert.) Only thing i noticed is he was really thirsty when he got home (drank his entire bowl of water without stopping. But besides that i should def be returning.

A few comments and then my wife and I can rid ourselves of the careless service of B&B forever:
— We understood walkers could not be guarenteed; however, we were constantly reassured that unless an emergency came up, we would have the same walker for the most part. B&B giving us 5 walkers in the first 2 weeks isn’t exactly keeping your end up the bargain given I’m guessing each change wasn’t due to an emergency.
— You left out the part when you were denied access to our building because the walker forgot his/​her ID and a manager had to come walk Duke instead which resulted in a late walk.
— You have «professional» dog walkers… as you are aware, puppies can be stubborn, and instead of being intelligent enough to find a way to get our 10lb puppy to walk the extra 20 steps on that day outside of the building, she thought it would be safer to leave him in his crate for another 6 hours with the risk that he would be sitting in his own feces for the day.
— Given we spoke to B&B on an almost regular basis regarding issues we had with your company, you’ll have to forgive us for not wanting to talk to you right away after you left our door unlocked… I don’t think a conversation with my wife and I would have made your walkers any more competent.
— We currently use the same crate that was left open when Duke was left out for the afternoon. Don’t ever insult my intelligence by claiming a faulty lock was the root of the problem. If it was our fault and the crate was the problem, we would have never expected a dime from B&B.
— Why would we ever want to meet 1 on 1 w/​a manager? We had already spoken to 4 of them between the 2 locations and still received the same terrible, careless results.
We finally found a trustworthy walking company and 1 month in it has been amazing. I will continue to share our experience on every social outlet possible.

I have been using doggy daycare at BnB for months now and I can’t give them enough praise here in Tribeca. The staff are always so eager to help and always give me useful updates on my pup’s day. It may not be the cheapest place, but Im quite impressed with the quality of service and the helpful, loving staff.
I am away at meetings regularly, and am confident to leave my puppy in their hands overnight. I highly recommend the puppy kindergarden classes for learning how to teach the basic commands.

$ 340 for 2 tiny dogs just for an overnight stay??? We will not be returning.

We’ve been sending our dog to B&B for over a year now and we love it! The staff members are happy, knowledgeable and seem to genuinely enjoy spending time with the dogs. When we see a staff member on the street, my dog gets so excited and greets them happily — I think that’s a great sign.
It is expensive (my reason for 4 starts vs. 5), but I know my dog is in good hands when at B&B, so it is worth it.

I do not recommend Biscuits and Bath (B-​n-​B). Our puppy started to go there because we heard that they had complimentary puppy play groups on Monday night. Then once they get you in the door they lure you into the day care program with a first month at $ 99 for unlimited care. This was such a great deal that even though my husband was unemployed we thought it was worthwhile for our puppy to get socialization. Well, after going there a few times she came home with kennel cough. When we brought her to our vet, our vet asked us if she went to B-​n-​B without us every mentioning it. When we tried to talk to the people about it, they kept saying it could’ve come from there or somewhere else which is true but its most likely it came from there. We stopped using them and going there at that point and should never have gone back but when my husband started working again in September we called and they were willing to cut us a deal. Since we’d hardly used any of the days in May because of the kennel cough, for September we didn’t have to pay any monthly fees but we did have to become annual members ($ 300), so we did. Then for October we dropped her down from unlimited care to Tuesday Thursday day care and Monday, Wednesday, Friday walking. For the most part this was fine. She definitely was excited when you would approach the store and the employees who worked there (mainly kids/​younger people) seemed to like her and she seemed to like them. The best part of the entire company is the people who actually cared for the dogs. In the playrooms they keep them in there are no toys, water or wee wee pads, it’s essentially a padded room with all the dogs in it. She always seemed thirsty when we picked her up and I have to guess its because they feed them at 12 and 4 (by owner’s request) and she hadn’t drank anything in a few hours. For November we did the same schedule. On occasion in the apartment we’d notice that the person who came by to walk her was doing other stuff. Once they left a Snapple bottle on the floor, another time they left a game of ours on the floor (that’s normally on the coffee table). For the most part I think the walkers were ok, we did notice often when they signed the key in and out from our doorman we weren’t getting a full 30 minutes. One day it was like 24 minutes so I called them just to be like if we’re paying for 30 minute walks it should be a 30 minute walk, not a 20 minute walk (because you figure it takes time to get into the apartment, get the dog set up in her harness and leash, get the dog down to the street, etc. and do the same on the return). In November we learned about how they try to nickel and dime you. On Veterans Day, there was a $ 20 surcharge because they consider it a holiday. To me, if you say we are paying monthly and on a specific plan, I don’t think there should be additional charges if a holiday falls. I can see if you are doing a pay by day plan but not a monthly plan. Then the week of Thanksgiving when my husband dropped off the dog one morning they said we still owed them the payment for November. When we had spoken in late October I told them to process the payment on November 1. Well apparently someone had a wrong credit card number down and they tried to run the credit card everyday of November, and everyday of November that it got declined they tacked on an additional $ 1. At no point did anyone call, email, or mention to us that this was happening, so how would it ever get corrected? The morning they mentioned it to my husband we immediately gave the correct credit card number but then it took tons of back and forth with the customer service number to recover the $ 1 a day charges. It was at that point that I realized they had charged us $ 20 for Veteran’s Day which I also argued because no one mentioned this to us at any point and they say its in the customer handbook which I don’t think I ever read or was aware of but that tends to be their defense for everything. Someone told me they would credit the $ 20 back eventually. For December we switched our dog to daily walking and no doggy day care because we started reading online about them and learned a lot of negative information (dog attacks, dogs getting sick, lack of clean conditions, etc.) we decided its probably better for her to be home and have food, water and warmth and get walked once a day. At this point we were much happier with them and thought the dog walker was doing a good job. Most days it was a woman named Miriam but on occasion it was a girl named Ellen. We told them on really cold days it was fine to stay in the apartment and just play with our dog. Something I will give them credit for is that they leave you a daily note telling you what time they came, if your dog pooped or puddled, if they refreshed the water, etc. I really liked these notes and often the girls would write something additional like we played inside, she loves her ball.

Good care, attentive to canines, my boston & bull terrier seem to love it there!
